They usually spawn in large open fields. Boars spawn in the forest. Look around the airfields(NE especially), there's almost always an animal on the runway.

The amount of whiners is astonishing. I think there should be a complaints subforum in suggestions where they can go and spill their tears without us having to be annoyed by it. Any sort of "There are too many meanies :(" thread that isn't posted there should either be moved there or deleted. Just having it like that would make the rest of the forums seem cleaner and more constructive without the clutter.

3. Youre upset so many people keep playing to tdm? Imagine how many more would if they knew they had absolutely nothing to lose. That would make this game just another fps.

Where does the loot spawn on them? I found one and i want to be sure im not walking past it. On the server its currently night and there's tall grass around so its pretty hard to see. Do i have to look in the inventory of the heli or does it spawn on the ground?

Just look at the bottom line of his sig and youll realize what kind of gamer he is. Come back when youre hunting people up north like a common deer with nvg's and an m24. I also find it funny how he brags about camping a corner and just happens to play Cod.

Two minutes isnt really that long. Many times people dont see the text at the bottom right when they spawn/ use arma free so it takes at least two minutes to find the name sign for the town they spawned on the outskirts of.

people seem to have missed a part of my post so ill just post it again. "(minus the ones that go randomly PKing on the coast for the lulz)" I'm not trying to vindicate ALL bandits. I, just like everyone else, hate the bandits that run around the coast killing new players that are only armed with makarovs( the "call of duty kids"). I was talking more of the rough life up north where being a bandit is the only way to stay alive so being skilled and using cunning tactics is the prevalent means of survival. Obviously not all bandits are mature, I was merely pointing out the ones that are.Also, bad-ass was probably the wrong word and it probably made me seem like a kid. What i meant was that the stories of how a guy managed to infiltrate a group and dispatch them without them being any the wiser are much more entertaining than having a forum full of "need to find buddies to play with!" and "how i died :(" threads.

Seriously, i feel like this is the horde vs alliance in WoW. On one side you have the survivors(alliance). Which is full of either kids who think everyone in the world is nice or self-righteous bandit police that end up getting destroyed by the ones they hunt. On the other side you have the bandits(horde) full of mostly mature skilled players(minus the ones that go randomly PKing on the coast for the lulz) who see the zeds as just a sideshow to the real attraction of hunting a more intelligent prey. In their forum they're looking for groups to try to hunt us with or talking about how they got killed for trusting someone. On ours its full of bad-ass stories and sick, yet fun, games(kneecapping). I can say I'm glad to be on the dark side and look forward to seeing some of you in the field and maybe trading a few shots too :P .

Nah, im pretty sure most of the people that follow him are xbox gears players that mostly dont have a pc. Good to see the mod getting so much publicity though.

what? never said i was good. granted i have the common sense to stay away from the coastal towns / most things noobs get killed for. and i have some decent gear, but when it comes down to it i usually get destroyed by the arma vets.
