5 minutes is a crazy amount of time, I dare you to stand still anywhere in dayz for 5 minutes and see if you last, 10-30 seconds is more appropriate and it has already been suggested. -
Probably duping tents, not a big concern for them.

I think the odds are it is too versatile, it can travel across chenarus in a few minutes and can weave through the sky. Still you have my beans and I hope its added.

You might be able to log ingame, then immediately crash.. integrated graphics on a laptop could barely run a word document. -

Above poster is right, get 10fps max on lowest settings, Invest in a real computer.. macbooks aren't for gaming. -
To be honest, might be worth saving the 200 until you get a few extra hundred dollars and replace the whole thing, if your PC will bottleneck you need to replace quite a bit and its not cheap.

Why not a bicycle, its one of the best vehicles :D, but if you google: dayz vehicle map you will find what you need. -
I agree with wh33t at this point, if the server owners shell out a 2-300 dollars per month for a server they should be worked with and not blatantly told the rules and are expected to follow, yes it is a privilege but there are only so many decent servers and less people willing to host them for the mod, I just think there needs to be a middle ground and an agreement reached.

The mod is free, it was your choice to purchase arma2 and then install the mod separately.

Im curious how you accidentally clicked shift + P at the same time, but yeah you need to reinstall battle-eye and if it doesn't work try a fresh install but most servers kick to stop script kiddes.

Im curious how many hackers were on there at the time, by the sounds of it there could be 4+.. its ridiculous.

I seriously think that before you kick players that you take a long look at the servers we have currently.. every single one is flooded so a simple way to fix this is for the server hosters NOT accepted yet, make them sign a contract saying you can do this and that to them if this is abused and the hive is hacked into, that way I wont have to wait 40 minutes to join a 300 ping server only to get desync'd and disconnect anyway.

The fact that they can be unlocked is making the game much easier, having to choose what gun is the best for the situation that you are in is a learning experience and bad decisions impact you strongly. Point 2: Im sorry, when was the last time you saw zombies walking down the street, or being in third person view looking over your shoulder.. this farming power at its finest and such an unfair advantage its saddening.

So your suggesting just changing the camping location slightly? Not worth the code IMO.

Point number one: This could work but it would be horrible for the gameplay, having the addons locked onto the gun means that there are pro's and cons to having the gun.. I mean if you have NV on a gun its invaluable at night but less than useful in the day and that makes it challenging, the decision to keep it or not. Point number two: No, you add items into the game that reduce weapon damage flat out then its horrible, if this were added I would prefer to see some other special effects on the gear (Chance to find rare loot, ect)

I completely agree with BigApe, I want to see more work on the other counterparts that make the game, such as the inventory system and making the zombies more realistic (ironic, eh?) -
Your first point cannot be changed at all, it would require editing the actual game code which would effect all of arma, it does ruin the game but its something you need to live with until the standalone version is released. Point 2: This might be able to be changed but its still a minor issue in comparison to the others, a few guys have legit items that were copied over, you can still only use 1 gun at a time and carry a certain amount of ammo anyway, personally I say fix the zombies first.

Honestly I would prefer to die by a bandit then shoot him myself, I have died hundreds of times because I wanted to make friends with some people, I have about 20 guys I know that play dayz and the reward from having trusty friends is worth more then some gear that you will eventually lose.

The engine couldn't handle it and the servers are costing hundreds of dollars a month to run, what you are suggesting could cost thousands to run a 40 player server, nice in theory but not in practice im afraid. -
I half agree with this, I believe giving snipers an SMG as a sidearm would be way too powerful, the sniper is meant to be vulnerable and are meant to be far away from danger, I think if this is implemented that we will see loads more campers and thats the last thing dayz needs right now.
