I would expect that even if the hacker can take away hunger thirst it wouldn't be cross server. Best bet change server and hope you get thirsty.

I think about 25 days is the most I have done while playing on public populated servers but that was before the hackers invaded. To get to 100+ days your either the luckiest bastard on the planet or you play for 5 mins a day on low population white listed servers.

A lap around the north of Chenarus can easily provide an AS50/L85/Ghillie suit combo not to mention just shooting somebody with that gear and taking their kit. Its your private hive so do as you wish but personally I think checking your logs might be a better option for banning. You may piss people off rather than protecting them.

Usually goes like this......You watched a youtube vid on hacking....clicked on the hackers website.....had your cd key stolen....curiosity killed the cat. Buy a new copy or blame your little brother like most do.

Passworded servers are very hard to keep populated as most people just cant be bothered signing up because putting a password on a server doesn't stop hackers joining, it could even be said the the challenge of ruining the day of a closed community would entice hackers to sign up. Its also just not fun to be a bandit all the time it would boring as hell to shoot everyone on site and if this were the case it would be counter productive to building friendships, alliances and communities. I'm more than happy to be proven wrong so please continue to post on the progression of your server best of luck with it.

[Resolved] CPU Going to 100% Every Time I Run DayZ?

Sounds like the problem a couple of my clan are having, they have gone from being able to run the game on high end to getting as low as a couple of frames a second on even the lowest settings. At this point I wish I could offer some kind of answer but we haven't been able to figure out what's doing it. Problem has only started in the last two weeks. I did have a frame rate issue once as well, filled up my hard drive with fraps vids (derp) but a clean out and defrag sorted it out. -
I often mute the game sound and play third party soundtracks, who need to hear gunshots or footsteps these dayz anyway. EDIT: That was sarcasm but now that I think about it considering 90% of deaths are to teleporting hackers I might as well put some tunes on.

If you see loot spawn in before you expected it there is good chance somebody else is in the area, I noted this several times in the last few days while holding the cherno church.

Trying a few different server does seem to fix this bug, it will eventually fix itself though.

Its because you are in a bush or laying in the grass, you need a clear field of view.

No need to take the loot far away, just drop it outside the building. In large buildings there is no need to even take it outside, in industrial hangers for instance you can just pile all the loot in the middle. It seems to take about 10 minutes to respawn so generally I will look for a cluster of 3 or 4 buildings so by the time you have cycled all the loot the first one is respawning. Using a tent, fireplace or zombie body to dispose of the loot is also handy.

The answer is simple, scavenge in this order, hatchet, knife, matches, morphine then head for the hill to hunt some meat so you can self medicate.

24/7 daytime regular server with100 vehicles for a 20 slots seems a little odd. Best of luck with it, I tried to come for a look but it doesn't launch from commander and isnt listed in the ingame browser, might be hard to get people in there.

Zombies cant see you if you stand in a low pine tree, they will run up and possibly look like they are hitting you but it doesn't connect and they will walk off after a few seconds ;) -

I run a teamspeak server for anybody who wants to join, if they are not in it they are targets if they are armed. If I was more of a friendly type then I would miss direct voice but helping randoms has never worked out well for me :) -

I play on all the Australian servers and have never really called any of them home. I set up tents on many of them but due to game mechanics they just started duping gear every time the servers reset and it became too easy to gear up and more than a little boring. Then I found a private hive one day and it had side chat, people cooperating, no ghosting, 99% less hackers, voice disabled so less lag and still plenty of pvp. Until the main hive is standalone and game mechanics are fixed I think I will call this place home.
