I often run across husband and wife teams and would like to hold one at gunpoint while torturing the other.....does this make me a bad man? Kinda want to see if they log or stay to watch the show. -

Safe AI Bases using the Bandit/Survivor Humanity

And how do you enter/exit said bases when every bandit on the server is camping the approaches? -
Run up the western side of the map through the forests and raid a camp or kill a night sniper. I usually get nvg within the first hour, I can think of five tents atm with at least one set in each, but I got my current set from a sniper who was getting his legs chewed off by zeds. I am yet to see them in a spawn, not for lack of trying.

I went shooting pigs the other night with a friend, the rifle was bolt action but it had a 12x thermal scope with nato rounds. This is in Australia a country with a largely unarmed populace (fuck the Aussie government for taking our guns). Anyway the point I am making is that thermal scopes are more common than you may think and the L85 is the main Brittish assault rifle so it would be fairly common as well.

There is an easy hack to remove all trees and rocks etc, combine that with a chopper and your not going to keep any vehicles. I haven't been able to hold a vehicle for any length of time since the return of choppers.

I like side chat servers but they attract more hackers. It gives the hackers more tears to feed on :(

I have died 3 or 4 times to hacks in the last week, its shown me not to cherish my gear if nothing else. In fact I have probably had more fun because its brought me back to the roots of the game. There are not going to be any easy solutions to hackers so meh, if I die I die. Given the choice I will bear with the hackers rather that lock myself away.I mean wtf do you do on a private hive, march up and down and look at your piles of loot? Boring as bat shit unless your a wow throwback or have some kind of OCD.

The only real fun in DAYZ is from random pvp, lock the server and you lose that. When your all geared what will you do? Organised pvp with your conscripts? You don't need DAYZ for that. I hate hackers and they are killing the mod without a doubt but I cant see how locking the servers will help, In fact it would probably help to kill it.
