try downloading from the actual website, and doing the update manually As far as I can tell their website is having problems... But I can link you to the download mirror for 1.7 thats why your having problems Mirror 2 http://dayzo2.artofw...DayZOrigins.rar Checked my history from last night for you Download and extract the rar file to your desktop Locate your arma 2 oa folder (usually program files-steam-steamapps-common-arma operation arrowhead Open your @DayzOrigins folder in that location Then open the @DayzOrigins folder you just extracted Drag all the contents into the other one and replace/merge all If you do this and dayz commander says anything ignore it, just see if it lets you join a server For example..... I done this last night and my dayz commander say my dayzorigins is courrupted, when actually it works fine

I find that the huey is better on fuel, the mi 17 guzzles it Stick 2 or 3 jerry cans in a huey and you can go 3000-4000 Stick 2 or 3 in mi 17 and i would say half that

Might help http://dayzmod.com/f...i/#entry1127851 Also i have some launch parameters that seem to give me a boost especially the winxp one My parmeters -nosplash -cpuCount=2 -exThreads=7 -maxMem=2047 -world=empty -skipIntro -noPause -winxp Turn AA Off, and turn off post proscessing video memory - default most other things - high ( setting high will put the load on your gpu and less on your cpu which should increase frames) But its your cpu that needs upgraded, you want a quad core at 3+ ghz and ideally overclocked to 4ghz +

Did you overclock your graphics card? To me it sounds like a gpu issue, ie overheat or its been oc'd and it may be causing the problem I had a gt 545 3gb last year and I oc'd it, it was fine for a month or two then started giving me problems, I had to restore it to factory settings

Ok so i went and upgraded my gpu. It works great in all games with no problems for example runs bf3, skyrim, bl 2 etc all in 1080p at max settings. But im not seeing the increase i wanted in dayz. Yes my fps has went up and I have been able to up my in game video settings but looking towards cities or building my fps is not much better than before. I also notice that when I am standing next to a city if I look away from the city my fps skyrockets and so does my gpu load. But if I turn and look at the city my fps dramatically drops and so does my gpu load. Shouldnt my gpu be working as hard or even harder in or looking at cities? But I expected more from the card I bought from what I was using before. An i7 and gtx 660 ti sc 3gb I expected more than 30-45 around big towns.I thought maybe its the hard drive speed, but I tried the ram disk technique which is meant to be faster than using a ssd but it made no difference.
