If hacking is fixed, I'd pay anywhere from $20-$30 in alpha, then obviously more for beta, or the complete release. But again, ONLY if the hacking is fixed. I've stopped playing all together because of how often I run into hackers and cheaters.

Hacking is definitely the number one problem with this mod right now. I'm still a bit confused as to how Rocket plans to release a stand alone game by the end of the year, when DayZ is in terribly rough shape right now.

I've been posted up in Elektro for the past couple of days sniping. It's easy to find a good vantage point, and even easier to find people to kill.

I agree, the cheating needs to stop. I've been blown up, killed by invincible people, etc. And for those still using the "it's an alpha" excuse, cheaters are preventing any of us from actually TESTING DayZ. Sure, this could be used a way to find loopholes and fix the hacking, but it still needs to be fixed soon.

Yep, I have a fast internet connection, and a very fast PC, so I'm not sure whats taking so long. I sit on the loading/waiting for character to create/waiting for host/ screens for so long.

Apologies if this has been asked before, but is there a reason why it takes so long to get onto a server? It usually takes me 5-10 minutes just to log on. I've tried multiple servers, same thing happens to a friend of mine.

After being killed so many times for no reason, all I do now is spawn, find gun, murder spree. I loved the survival aspect of the game, started playing about a month and a half ago, and now, there isn't a reason to try anymore.

I'm the same way, I started this game with the intent to be sneaky, loot, survive, kill when I needed to. But now, I spawn, find a gun, and kill every person I can before I die, then repeat. People get mad at me all the time in chat, but I've been killed too many times that I just don't care anymore.
