You misspelled griefing... I take it you have never played an mmo on an ffa server before like ac1 & 2 darktide, uo, shadowbane, darkfall and a few others and come across a hardcore pk guild. Griefing is a lifestyle with those guilds. The philosophy is "red is dead" in other words anyone other than clan members are an enemy and are to be killed on sight (kos). Then for fun you camp their corpse or spawn for hours. Of course this pretty much ruins the day for the ones being killed or at least breaks their momentum. I see you have equated griefing with not giving a shit about the game. The two are not necessarily synonymous. Also there are several reward factors built into the game for killing another player. Your murder count goes up, the thrill of the kill, and you getsss their lootsss. As far as myself...well you will just have to find out when you meet me in game...

So since the patch i have refused to log in after hearing people loose all their gear except for their backpack and getting dropped in the ocean or debug forrest if they had a gilli suit on or cammo. While sitting on the toilet taking a dump where most good ideas come from i remembered about two weeks ago changing my profile name to reflect my clan tag. When I changed my name it dumped my gilli into my bag and reset my video settings and gave me a new profile look. So I decided to give it a try... I logged into the lobby of a server... and went to the profile section and created a new name. I then exited...and reentered the lobby and launched the game. It worked with the exception that my gilli suit disappeared. I didn't loose any other gear though nor dumped in the ocean or debug forest. Hope this helps one of the hold outs... Cheers!
