I'd like to see a single persistant server. Kinda like EvE, as long as the map were alot bigger with more areas.

Nothing. Other than that it's not doable twice so it makes little sense for them to do that on a public area. In game it's not so easy to know who shot who and it's easy to make excuses for shooting someone. In the forum it's open for public scrutiny so the dayz forum is a good place to look for people. so bandits are only bandits because there is no real meta like say this line so currently we can meta game for loot and other player locations but not to communicate and form trust. OK so start one. Add me. Wouldn't do any good since your in-game name can change at any moment you wish.... I blame arma 2 :P. I don't change my name. It is a point of personal pride. I just push the left mouse button instead of the caps lock key. I trust them after that.

It isn't an exploit but server hopping to farm is a problem. One I'm sure will be dealt with down the road. An admin touting a no Pk server, and server banning folks for killing other players is a serious breach of the agreement between the host and Rocket. It remains to be seen if he will actually server ban someone or not. Maybe I'll be the first. edit: meant to be reply to Mothman

There are no official NON-pvp servers. I don't even think the admin is banning people for pvp on this one. I think he is just trolling carebears onto the server to be lined up and shot like Sheeple. +1 admin Sadly the admin has not showed up yet to either defend or explain his/her actions' date=' were he/she doing this as an attempt to "troll Carebears" well then, he/she wouldn't be very mature imo. [/quote'] I am 100% in agreement with you about the admin. I also feel that if he does ban anyone for PvP he is going against the server rules that Rocket established when they agreed to host DayZ. That is why I am pushing the envelope on that server, and will continue to do so. I'm also an asshole, but that is another story.

I wanted to roleplay a scared survivor looking for companionship with a few fellow like minded people. I wanted rainbows and unicorns like the server "Ruleset" suggested. Sans that, I just shot you in the back. Then the guy on the roof of the hospital, and his friends. Everyone else in Electro, and then Cherno.

I killed a few folks tonite on this server. Then when there was no one left to kill I went to go find some choppers. I got some sweet loot that I'll bring back to wreak some havoc on my regular servers.

I've followed your stream, and I like the cut of your jib. Close quarter massacre looks to be alot more fun than surviving out in the wilderness collecting crap.

Because this communities got its head so far up its ass that apparently one playstyle is nasty and bad and should be punished (see 'heartbeats'). Even though the boards of are of people crying about getting killed by other survivors. Nothing wrong with killing people. But theres something not right about directly or indirectly encouraging it. So there is a stat for both murders and bandits killed. It is even for both playstyles. Kill an bandit get +1. Murder someone and get +1 murders. I am failing to see sthe problem here.
