I noticed that some servers vary according to their settings. There are variations on difficulty even among veteran servers. What I am wondering is... are there any servers out there that are real hard mode. I want the blackest of night, poorest of loot, heaviest damage, no map waypoints, no third person, no crosshairs, no tags, no chat (except direct) ..etc etc. Beat me, whip me, make me feel cheap. I want DayZ to ball me up in the corner and make me rock back and forth and cry. Are there any servers out there that are actually hard?

I've been doing the same thing recently. I like to clean the common sniper spots of glass-licking mouth breathers. There are some really out of the way spots that have a great view of the top of the factory etc.

I was sniping the snipers in cherno earlier. I saw a guy pop onto the roof of the factory right in my sights. I guess he had just logged in there like a retard. When I popped him with my AS50 it said he was killed by friendly fire. I guess he hadn't fully finished loading yet when I killed him. I know when folks get killed in "debug forrest" the "friendly fire" killed text pops as well. So I guess it has somethig to do with with that.

Zombies are pretty much a non-factor. They are easy to deal with by LOS, smoke, or backpeddal and pop em etc. They are stupid AI, have been, and always will be.

Try going deeper into a forrest and right click it on your toolbelt while next to a tree. Its kinda wonky sometimes.
