So the in-game map's perimeter is actually a fair amount larger than the http://dayzdb.com/map when it comes to the northern edge. I just want to know if there is an actual difference in game mechanics there? eg, no animal spawns, tents can't be placed etc. etc.

On my way back to my camp, I hug the west treeline.... It was night time on NZ 24 and as I continue my way north, I would pass zelenogersk, where I would usually look for other camps first but a hint of blue caught my eye. A bus was just sitting in the treeline. it would've been acceptable if the forest was narrow, but it was near a flat open field. regardless, the idea of loot drew me in. Some of you may not know this, but the only way to access the bus' storage is entering the bus itself. Didn't find much, just some sardines (ew) and a double barreled shotguns. thought I'd steal his jerry cans and be on my way. as I look at my map and plan my route, the engine starts. The bus is moving. at this point my face is embdedded in the desk in laughter. he didn't notice the man in the ghillie suit just casually sitting at the back seat. I figured he had been just travelling between towns and looting them, fast but dangerous. explains the double barreled shotgun. after waiting 3 stops for him to notice me, but I guess it must've been too dark. as he came back from his 4th trip I turned on my mic and made the most ungodly noises known to man and demanded sacrifices of blood bags and only blood bags. He got out of the bus, finally exchanged glances with me and aborted. his doubled barreled shotgun is mine.
