I would stick to Hero skin. I´ve weared ghillies, but now there are TONS of L85s out there, and I think every clan/group/squad has one, its rather pointless, you will glow like everyone else. Im a hero now, and I try to interact with people a bit more, even though you will be shot on sight or betrayed any moment like the rest of the players. Anyway, you can die any moment due to hackers, so Im not afraid of some fresh spawn runs.

Aaah I have thought something similiar about that shady Russian that "maybe" its the competition.

I´ve been playing some hours during the 2000 BE bans, and after it. And the thing is that in my experience, hackers are still all around. I usually play on LU servers on de 100-300 range. The thing is, I´ve encountered hackers in 5 of 5 servers I checked. The last one didn´t have hackers... It was me and another guy in the server so that is what I call secure server :D. The different thing is that these hackers just teleported to me, spawned a medical box full of hacked and legal items, and said to me it was because i was a Hero (I have the skin), that bandits are bad people and he is killing them. Then he vanishes. This happened in 3 of 5 servers, everytime a different player (or the same one with another name), but all of them with russian accent. Its kind of strange, hacking items to heroes and then killing all the bandits in the game (I think survivors too, because the number of kills in the server suddenly became absurd). Then the servers dropped down from 23-25 players to 3 and then 0. I can´t understand hacking at this game, but hacking in that way its way out of my other experience with hackers. tl;dr. Hacker helped me because of my hero skin? Right after 2000 BE bans.

Implying I approve hackers, wich i don´t. I just used the title because I vas given the box for being a hero. All the hackers used the same pretext to give me a box. And yes, I took a weapon from that box. My beloved Winchester (freshly respawned at elektro, after dieing by the hand of another hacker). Being in that area means to me that I don´t need anything else, the rest i can scavenge for it. Calling them White Knights does not imply that I approve them. The way they act (giving crates to Heros and survivors) it´s pretty different from my previous experiences. And I´m whining too about the hackers every day with my friends, and have reported a couple. All the servers I used to play in are lost to them, and it´s a pity, i had some annotations about spawns, tent cities, etc... Every server looks like a "new map" to me, because I wanna know where everything is, so thats some work wasted. Seems impossible to step in a server without being hacked. At least, I can thank to them catching up the phrase "never get attached to your gear". I usually avoid combat, and usually got attached to every set of equipment I had. Now i prefer to carry the Winchester and an Alice pack. I can die any second. I learned the lesson, tho, but hackers still there. :(

In my opinions skins work good, at least for me. Im in hero skin, but it doesnt show who you really are. I encountered a bandit with an Mk 48, while i had a hatchet. He shot a couple rounds, hitting me in the legs, breaking the bone of course. And then just ran to me and said "sorry, i was trying to shoot the zombies", then blodbageg me, gave me morphine and we went our separate ways, after cleaning the TON of zombies that came to the store in Berezino. 20 minutes later, i was killed by a survivor that shouted friendly. My fault for letting him see my back. Anyway, I try to respect survivors life avoiding them. If I see a Hero, I like to get close and try to group up or give help. If he is a masked bandit, I´ll take the risk I have been with KoS mentality since I begun playing this game, and I want to be Chernarus White Knight from now on :D

Checked. Doesn´t seem to be truth looking at rocket´s response on reddit. I´ve seen another thread posted by a server owner but i can´t find it right now, regarding this problem

Happened to my friend too in LU351, while he was driving a heli. We were all teleported at the same time, Ive made a thread about it with videoproof. Hi there. I was playing with a couple friends in Lu 351. We just got a fresh server restart, and we decided to repair the helicopter, with the help of a couple boats we had. After repairing it, we where travelling to meet a friend. We were just over Stary Checking if anyone was there. Then our pilot got kicked, and the rest of us teleported to the coast and insta-death. One of my friends have it recorded on fraps so i will post the video ASAP. My doubt is what means that BattleEye kick you with the mesage "Remote Exec Restriction #40". Thats the reason that my friend was kicked, and I think Banned too. Thanks EDIT. It was about 20 minutes ago. Video is uploading, anyway I´ll leave the link here.

Looking at the video, I see we were just teleported. At 1.17, If you c¡pause the video you can see the cheater and all the vehicles he had around him. Still dont know whats the battle restriction that appear in the video.

So, this is what happened. I was sniping Stary while a friend was comming to regroup there. After a couple kills, i went for a ride in a bike recently found. Later, I returned alone to see if someone else was around. And bingo. A player called Haineko was crawling his way into the tents, then come out. I shot him a couple times, but missed. Then he disconnected, but stayed on the server for a while. Moments later, he was kicked by BattleEye for scripting. Nice try bro. Just reporting it. It was a couple hours ago (Im in GMT+1, happened at 2:00 am).

I don´t know why people thinks that making a mod means making money. I´ve played lots of mods in other games that are really good, but just as a mod, not as a full game. I don´t think Rocket can get the game releaseable in September with all the problems it has (infernal lags sometimes, zombies teleporting, players too, graphical glitches everywhere mostly on cities (Cherno and Electro where barely playable yesterday), etc...). Take a look at Mount and Blade´s Grim Age mod. Heavy development for almost 2 years, and not a single release. Its a tremendous work, and will be free, because its a mod. In this line, the mod "Mount and Musket" was bought by Paradox and released as "Napoleonic Wars". The best shot for Rocket is that Arma II team buys the game,wich will mean a release at 10-15 $ though.

Same problem here. Its a big problem tho, since it destroys any chance of enjoying the game. Just lost 4 bandage-food-drink and a Enfield+4 mags work twice. Every time i join a new server I start from scratch. For the reccord, the 2 servers where i was playing went down spontaneously, so it might have affected my case.
