I don't even play anymore, but I have to emphasize this point. In my experience, running into a supermarket, taking the beans / etc you find w/ junk loot still there, then running away (who wants to die? :D) screws everyone else who was unlucky enough to come in behind said player. That player isn't obligated to get rid of the junk loot, so why should he take it? I mean--- I suppose there is the whole "Realism" argument, but I won't even go there :D

hahaha, if they were fixed, would they dupe? You would laugh at your words if you saw the crap my tents are full of x) I really only get low-mid teir loot often. Hospitals, grocery stops, fire houses and churches are my main fodder. So I basically have tools, food, and crappy guns x) I have fun running into random towns naked, finding stuff, helping people. Many times I've gotten a nice pack from the store, a decent automatic from the firehouse, then giving it all to some random player who looks like they have nothing and run away saying take it, hoping they don't shoot me. It's how I play the experiment! I keep a good one on me I've found though. Found 3 choppers in my dayZ life. Die all the freakin time >.> Seriously can I just apply to help if i've got the coding experience? I didn't know they were open to help from the public :D

they're still there cause it's broken :D But I had 3 disappear on me while I went to gen-con a couple weeks ago, so i'm fairly sure it still happens. I can go back and see if they've re-appeared edit: they+are contraction.. I sux :)

Have CCC, just got the latest one as well. Flush has never worked for me, sometimes changing video from high to highest or highest to high fixed it, until I came back after leaving the area. Damn you!

He is saying why should he when there is no point to get stuff. He can't place a new tent and save something, old tents are broke. Would a wipe even be that hard? Or how about some small patches intended to fix things like artifacts that work? The last patch was revealed saying they fixed the issues. It was just a cover for the logging alt-f4/combat dodging system. Does it really take you a couple hours to get a Winchester or AK? You're doing it wrong x) I don't play anymore for similar reasons, but a tent is essential to how I want to play day Z(read, My personal playstyle. advanced hoarder simulator 2012. not vehicles though :) but I do love I love having one.). I put tents everywhere. some In the middle of cities behind buildings in inconspicuous areas. I've probably placed 30 total on the server I frequent. one of my Favorites was in Berezino, the SE part of town. Close the the hospital/grocery store so I always had it loaded with food/etc. Let me tell you, hitting them up before their 7 day limit takes a lot out of you too. And it becomes hard to keep track of all of them x) Anyway there are some very annoying issues that.. honestly shouldn't have goone unfixed for this long. And is a wipe really too much to ask for?

yes, why else would I type it? :D It's called loot cycling. I empty the barracks and head to the opposite barracks doing the same to building in between, then hit them back up on my way back. It's quite time consuming and dangerous to pick up all those damn cans and bottles.

if only...

pick the cans up, and toss em somewhere away from the loot spawn. go away for a few minutes and come back. new loots
