Why are there so many dicks on Day Z? Why do people have to just kill people on a GAME? I don't understand why players are such dicks with DayZ that killing people, they say, is actually the only way to play this game. I have read numerous posts where players have said how awesome it was to blow that noob's face in and how great it made them feel, shooting someone for no good reason. Not even bothering with their gear cause they have everything they need already. Personally, I believe this is extremely sad and they need to stop playing DayZ if it's having the asshole effect on them... it's a computer game where you think "Hey, I'm friendly, so other people may be friendly too right?" grow up and stop being a douchebag. These people seriously need to take a break from the game and re-think what they're doing with their lives , being such dicks online all the time. FTFY

i get stuff like this in cherno and before this new patch @_@ all taken a few days ago with 1.7.2.3. New patch problems though eh? @_@ for some reason I was thinking it may have to do with the sun somehow

a tent can hold 50 misc items (ammo, food, morphine, blood packs etc) 10 weapons and tools(5 weapons and 5 tools, or any mix of the two) and a certain number of car parts.. yeah, not a glitch :) sorry today. Now I have been randomly spawned, after logging in, on a roof that i shouldn't have been able to get on. sThankfully the fall only gave me shock >< Falling @ the quarry can have some very humorous effects though, and send your character flying o.O

why am I the only one who doesn't have a problem with pistols? headshots still drop zeds in 1 hit for me.

I'm also confused about how someone with 200+ ping affects people with 50+ ping? it doesn't, at least it shouldn't. your ping affects you and only you. Unless your trying to shoot someone with that 200+ ping, then you may get the drop on them because they're lagging? Bog down a server? what?

unfortunately every guns crosshair accuracy is different Some are spot on, some are to the left of center, etc. It's weird, test it out by centering your view on something, then right click once to bring up Iron sights. You will be able to see where you are really looking. So you can "learn" to shoot without the ironsights, so to speak.

3 hours is alot of time to just run in one direction :) in 3 hours I could have 3 separate characters with decent enough gear @_@ if you're not gonna respawn, run back and look for roads Etc like others have said! I would agree with you, except I started playing Arma 2 last night and i don't mind the campaign! :) Arma 3 is looking freaking amazing.

I think the minecraft approach would work. and I wouldn't mind the updates for free like Minecraft has given me. I don't even remember what I payed for minecraft then @_@ but... i'd say dayz as it is, to me, is worth upporting with 25-30 bucks. The best thing Rocket could do would be to have a set price for people to pay, then allow for extra if you would like to donate to the dayZ cost :) I can only imagine the capital needed for spending time doing something like this. that place to live doesn't pay for itself either.

I happened upon a survivor in the church in southern Cherno. After he scared the shit out of me just by being there when i opened the doors and ran in, I ran back out, want to the furthest part away from the door and went low to keep my eyes and gun on it. After a good 3 minutes or so, The doors come open and i see him peeking out. He looks around and after 25 seconds or so he retreats back into the church and closes the doors again. Another minute goes by and i decide to make myself known. I run toward the church standing up and began to run circles around it. I start to type a few messages and talk over DC VOIP, but nothing is returned. I get a few zombies on me and then decide f-it and run in the church to take the zeds out. The guy types "are you trying to kill me?" as I headshot some with my back turned to him. as I lol @ that I type "Nah I'm no bandit" and we begin to shoot the shit. I learn that he is from Argentina and waiting for a friend to run from a few towns away, freshly spawned. I'm thinking great, Because I have a full Czech backpack, Lee Einfiend and revolver to give to him ( i ran naked to Cherno just to loot x) ) While waiting, every so often i would hear the token gunfire of Cherno. I could only hope it's bandits banditing bandits. After a good 10 minutes or so he tells me his friend is going to run in with 10 zombies following. I get into position and he opens the door, his friend barreling through it with 3 zombies hot on his tail. I take the first one out, then 3 more. Finally after we killed 13 of them they stop coming and he closes the door. I say "Hello!, Take this!" and put both guns on the ground, and backpack(even though he had a Czech pack on he snatched up along the way) As they are getting situated with the new items, I tell them i'll be right back and make a run for the grocery store. I had seen a new Czech pack for me there. As I approach the pack I see there is an A.L.I.C.E. pack clipped into the middle of the Czech! I grab it and run pack to the two to give it to them (I had actually found a coyote(24slot) for the first time before this, I stored it in my tent before I ran naked Cherno) I see he still his is Patrol pack on and doesn't know how to pick up the new bag. I put the A.L.I.C.E. pack down and told him to take it, explaining how. He doesn't seem to get it at first and as I'm waiting for him to get it, someone spawns behind us around the corner in the church. I see blood flying from one of them and turn to the guy. His weapon is silenced, he's wearing a ghillie. He had killed one already. Damn! I take aim and shoot, My makarov goes off .Bam. Click. .... DAMNIT He kills the second one and i reload. He takes me down before i'm even halfway done reloading. I knew I had been around the church too long. But I feel even worse for the pair, as I do not believe they have tents around the map Like i do :( I abort, then restart the mission, And spawn in Cherno! I immediately run back to the church and find it empty, out bodies untouched (mine was for sure. I could only assume theirs too, based off the items still on the bodies) Scumbag. I think he was someone who found us based off us chatting and gunfire from zombie kills. Joined a server moved into the church. DCed, Rejoined my home server and then killed us. I hope he was just someone who connected at the right/wrong moment. Scared Seeing 3 of us. I still think he's a dick. TL:DR Scumbag with silenced weapon/ghillie spawns behind 2 noobs and myself in the church. Murders in cold blood, not bothering with taking stuff)

vision quoted for truth. I play on a vet server, no free rangefinder, no GPS on the map, peripheral dots on, cross-hairs on, no 3rd person. But I still the zeds make you bleed / break your bones easier on vet :) probably not true.. but eh

yeah that makes no sense to me @_@ mine just drops over time so I need to relog

i got killed by a ghillie ninja just fresh spawning near cherno, thanks ghillie ninja! he broke a bone and made me bleed, then wouldn't killl me, So I flashed my flashlight at him. That did the trick! I almost got him!

man... I got killed by one of those jerks @ NW airfield.. and I ran naked all the way from my camp by Berezino too T_T

I swear you bleed easier/get broken bones easier w/ Vet difficulty. But... I think that vet is supposed to change things like nameplates, crosshairs, 3rd person.... although... that is all editable regardless of difficulty anyway...
