Thanks for the responses guys, I was really looking for a technical answers to my question not so much a philosophical answer to it. I have checked and it shows all player are not muted but still can hear or see anybodies typing when they are in range on the direct chat channel.

I have had a drama before when I've had firefox left open in the background, it doesn't use CPU but something about having the two open causes my FPS to drop to unplayable levels with a 2700K and 560Ti.

They should definitely add those vehicles, if there is one thing this game needs desperately it is to be further unbalanced, I'm sick of there being even the slightest possibility that I might actually get killed by a zombie in this game.

And where do petrol stations get their fuel from? Do you think tankers will still make deliveries during a zombie apocalypses?

I wasn't suggesting that we murder him, I'm not a monster. Just that he go hang himself, which seems a fair way to show that he has truly repented for destroying something that brings joy to so many to fulfill his own selfish desires. -

That would be like painting flames down the side of a car that has an engine that is 3 parts fucked. We need to fix a lot of other shit in this game first before we add more trinkets.

Get ready OP, I foresee a torrent of red herrings and abuse coming from the hacks, exploiters and teenage sniper queens. They won't be happy that you tried to bring them back onto the level playing field. You have my support. Thumbs up.

I hear your pain and I have a simple solution that is also more realistic. Put simply we need a lot more vehicles and a lot less fuel. Think about it, after a zombie apocalypse there would be cars in good condition left everywhere, the big problem would be that fuel production would stop. The only access to fuel would be what you could scavenge from what is left behind. Then clans could horde all the cars they wanted and it wouldn't do them any good or make any difference cause they could never fuel them.

The game has a goal, it's to stay alive. The problem is that the game isn't playing out as it was intended due to a few corrupting forces.

I'm bumping this cause I have the same problem and it's driving me crazy, vehicle channel works fine but when I use direct chat others can see what I type but I can't see what they type back. Has anyone come across a solution?

If you want to prepare for the zombie apocalypse you should get your tubby arse out from behind a computer and wobble those man cans down to the gym, perhaps if you lost some weight the kids at school would tease you less and you wouldn't fell so rejected. -

What skill does it require? it's point and shoot. The problem is if you use it near a town you will quickly find a zombie conga line forming behind you. -

IMO vehicles in running condition should be everywhere, fuel should be the rare commodity.
