    Anyone got any ideas when the patch is being released? I can't wait to get my hands on a ghillie again, but I certainly don't mind waiting for Rocket to tweak it and remove any glitches :D

    YAY! Can't wait to get back into a ghillie, It's been fun without ghillies for a while and makes PvP that bit easier but I still miss the times when you can hide under a tree in the forest at the NW Airfield and have a squad running around trying to find you for half an hour. Oh the enjoyment and lolz you can get from it.

    If you look on this interview, at 31:40 they ask a question about the possibility of the removable of changeable skins in the game, which Rocket replied with them being a "hack" and the Arma2 engine wasn't designed to support it. This certainly explains the removal of ghillies, camo clothing and even the bandit skin but it seemed he's hopeful to introduce them again, whether it be in the standalone version of DayZ or a later patch which should be sometime this week :) EDIT: Clothing is being put back into the game in the new patch 1.7.2.4 :D

    From personal experience, anyone camping the NW airfields would be a solo sniper either on a hill near them with a perfect field of view, or in the control tower. Snipers are easy to dodge, just don't go out in the open and stay low and even better, if you get a look at one then sneak up behind him and kill him! Another good idea is just to figure out what course your going to take, getting all the higher tier loot then fucking bailing to the nearest forest before you get shot. In the end, you just got to have the balls.
