I generally just observe before I kill, just to see what I'm up against. If i'm up against a guy with a winchester and M1911, then I'll leave him be, but if the fine fellow opposing me has any sort of scoped weapon generally someone in my squad needs one, so I take him out. Even if I don't need the gun I'll stash it in the car and take it to base camp. We have quite a nice armory now.

I generally don't bother taking vehicles to loot anyway, only to pick up friends or to set up an ambush or something. But thats because I only really loot military places now, and well if you take a car into the NWAF you're bound to get shot at.

You have to download the Razer Naga software off their site so that you can reassign buttons for certain things. For example I have my top two assigned to switching weapons and free look, then I don't even bother using the other 12 :P (I only use them for GW2)

What kind of camo? There are many, and also is it painted camo or some kind of ghillie-webbing? One must think before he posts.

Camo clothing also provides protection.

Might be able to trade a M16A4 ACOG for an L85, keep it in mind and I'll PM you sometime today.

Trade M107 for Mk48 and then a M16A4 ACOG for ghillie/coyote backpack? I'll be happy with just the first trade if you aren't interested in the second.

It isn't bad, but a simple timing mechanism when you sit down for 5-10 seconds before log out would be a whole lot more simple. Still a good idea though, +1 beans for you!

Tested it today, if you use SD rounds (As I regularly do on zombies) It tends to go higher than the aiming reticle. It isn't this extreme with the M4A1 CCO, but the overall accuracy and recoil of that weapon are inferior to that of the M4A3.

Going to refuel my newly found UAZ after what was possibly an hour or two of car part salvaging, I bent down into the car and instantly died. I'm guessing it was suffocation of some sort? But then again, I've rolled around on the inside of the hospital for a while. No biggie.

God damn M249 SAW. It sounds and feels beastly, and you can lay down some suppression that makes even the toughest of bandits shit themselves and hide behind a tree. Guess its only good in squad gameplay though, when you have others to snipe/take out zombies.

A more extensive melee system! Hatchets should become the top of the melee food chain, maybe with some sort of spanner or wrench down the bottom. Also any more lower tier weapons that could be found in residentials/farms like the lee enfield. The military weapons are pretty darn extensive and I daresay they will be a lot harder to acquire in the standalone. This is a little more off topic, but I'll say it anyway. More clothing variety! Maybe some sort of thermal coat to keep you warm at night and avoid getting infected or succumbing to another kind of sickness. Different hats and masks could determine whether the opposition is friend or foe.

Everyone's to piss scared to go near military zones, aside from Balota. Most PvP goes on in Cherno or Elektro. But thats what I get on my private hive, I'm not sure what public is like now with the hackers and such, but I'm guessing it's similar.

I'm sure that many of you saw the video that the DayZ team tweeted out to us a couple months ago, well the creator of the video "I am a survivor" has come back and yet again made another great video. I'm just posting as I'm not sure many of you have actually followed this guys work as he hasn't made a video in... well over 2 months. DISCLAIMER: I did not make or contribute to this video content in any way! I'm simply trying to help a great video get out there!

Day Zero? Just a suggestion as to what the Z may stand for. Could sort out the confusion between the mod and game. Then again, it does sound less "zombie-ish" :P

M107 or M16A4 ACOG?

Jason (sirexzib) just because he is hilarious, and doesn't try and ruin game experiences by hacking, but simply make them more enjoyable. Also Sacriel42 and his squad for good squad pvp gameplay.

Maybe chuck back in the M14 AIM and possibly the DMR, M24 and SVD Camo? They're fun to use and the M14 is incredibly useful with its diversity. Just make them both rare barracks/military spawns so players have to risk a lot to get them, unlike deerstands. The SVD on the other hand, is a very useful gun and gives the user the ability to remain almost completely unseen when coupled with a ghillie suit. If your also going on removing all the snipers, why not remove the L85? It's overpowered to say the least, but fun to use. I also understand the actual gun is pretty average so maybe you could swap it out for the L85A2 SUSAT or ACOG? Just a suggestion :D Also send me a PM with the server info if you please, we should try and get rockets attention on this one, it could bring a lot of fixes to the game.
