I'm wondering where the best place to start looking for sniper rifles is except Military weapons as all the Military spots are usually getting watched by snipers.

I had just saw a video saying that the bandit skin has been removed, I'm new to the game so I have no idea what this is. How can you tell if someone is a bandit now?

The server I usually play has seem to attract constant hackers over the last 3 days, I'm sick of them using spawning in stuff and using the invisible script with teleport to come kill everyone on the server. I was at a random place in the woods with a few friends and suddenly out of nowhere we see bullets getting shot from a spot right next to us but there was no player standing there. The hacker issue really needs resolver, I'm not sure why they hack when the game is in Alpha, must make them feel good about their troubled past.

I had left a server as it was lagging so I went to join another one and it put me unconscious as soon as I joined, the hour glass is right at the bottom and has been for like 15 minutes. I've tried closing arma 2 and joining a different server but it seems to keep doing it, what can I do to fix it?

I had stated it was lagging, You can't really expect me to stay in a server that is giving me terrible ping,

I wouldn't mind being unconscious but I've been sat here for an hour waiting for my thirst to deplete.

I think I might have been.

No one knows how to fix this?

I can actually tell you that a few servers have side-channel on their server, I heard that all servers are meant to have it removed, not sure if it is true.

Who exactly are "CQF", I've never actually heard of them and now I see multiple posts about them.

When I first join a server on DayZ it seems to load within seconds, I then log out and switch server due to it being night time or laggy etc. I went to switch server and the next time it went to the loading screen it had taken like 5 minutes to join the game, When I left that server it then took about 10+ minutes to join. Have they added a waiting period to stop server hoppers?

I was up at Dobryy near electro when I logged out last night, I had logged in and heard a vehicle which I had thought would have been on the road, I then looked down the hill and saw a guy in a Ghillie suite with the sniper, I then snook up to him with a double-barrel shotgun and put 2 rounds into his head. The loot I had got was: GPS Night Vision Goggles AS50 TWS Range Finders Civilian Clothing.

Oh, I'll go drop it now, not worth getting banned over it.

I've currently went to Stary Sobor twice now and once I reach the tents I seemed to get sniped. I happened to arrive at the tents of a server with only myself in it, saw a few people join so I thought "They won't be near the tents". Turns out 2 of the 4 players were spawned at Stary Sobor with sniper rifles, as soon as they saw me they killed me for a Winchester and then logged out. I honestly don't see the point in bandits killing people if they're not even looting, honestly so stupid and frustrating. I feel as if I am better just running around with an Enfield or Winchester as it takes so much requirements to get to Stary Sobor then "Compass,Map,Hunting knife,hatchet,watch" to thenfind out there are bandits camping ready to kill you anyway.

You guys will most like be like "What a noob doesn't even know what DayZ commander is" but I have only just come across it and I wanted to know if it's better than SixLauncher. I'm asking nicely that you don't flame me or give me abuse just because I didn't know about it until now.

In every zombie apocalypse there is always a Squad of highly trained Military Operatives that are sent out on Rescue Missions to clear towns/cities. So my current thought is why not have these scheduled for certain times in-game, They could bring some supplies such as weapons/food/ammo/medical kits. Lets say everyone on the server gets a message saying that the Rescue Team will be inbound at a specific location for a specific time such as "Chernogorsk - 15 minutes". I understand that bandits and others would try to kill each other so if we perhaps made the the area a Safe Zone whilst the Military Operatives are stationed there. Players would have to find the Military Convoy when it reaches the tow so this makes it a bit harder to find the loot. This is the end of the suggestion, I hope a few members will embrace the idea of this.

I was currently on my way to Stary Sobor but the server I was in had gotten dark so I had to switch. I then logged in to DE 655 and I had no items on me and I was in an area that had literally nothing at all for as far as I could see, not even a tree or a rock, I was kicked from the game for god knows what reason. So I decided to log out of that one and try another one to then find out I have been Teleported to Elektro with only my Winchester and it's ammo. I have somehow lost all of my food,soda,aks-74kobra, compass,map,hunting knife, watch, matches, hatchet. I've somehow still got my AK mags in my backpack. Would this be an act of hackers?

I recommend using DayZCommander as it shows your recently joined servers, has a lot more options for selecting if you'd like crosshairs,nameplates,third person etc.

I've been looking on the crash site map and I have went to about 5 locations and there has been no helicopter crashes. Is there any specific places out of all crash sites that they spawn in?

All you do is hit "Abort" as you said, there is no need for you to press "Respawn" are you're already dead.

Just got a kill a second ago whilst looting the store at electro, noticed there was a winchester behind the desk so I told him he can loot it once I leave, he ran straight for it and started firing it at me. I then ran outside the back doors and doubled back through the main entrance catching him by surprise with my AKM. First ever survivor that I have shot due to him firing first, I always take the friendly approach.

I've been looking over the loot maps that are on various websites and I have yet to see one that has commonly used sniper locations, I have decided to ask the community if you'd like to see a map that shows prime sniper locations so that you know where to look before scouting any major city. This map would be able to be used along with the loot maps so that you can check the commonly known spots before looting a specific city. I understand that bandit's will not like this as they like to be kept hidden but if you're sick of getting killed by them this would make it much easier to track their location.
