Here's the back story: Me and a IRL friend went to loot the fire station but I had to go afk for a minute so I had ran into the corner so he could protect me. When I get back I see that he has blocked me with wire fencing. Is there any possible way to remove the fencing? Image of what I mean: http://imgur.com/6C4XB

When I saw the name and the way it said "Survivors only", I had thought it would be like a chat for survivors to meet up and go looting together. When I saw it was an actual radio station I was like -_- I myself don't think that anyone would listen to music whilst playing as they need to listen for footsteps, gun shots, voice communication... etc

I don't agree with this at all, if I didn't have survival tips when I started out then I'd not be the player I am today. I suppose we all have our opinions.

We're gaining players rapidly that have no idea where to look for enemies scouting out major cities, this would greatly increase their knowledge and give them a tactical advantage before looting cities.

I recently wanted to try the " Friendly " approach so as I came up to the supermarket in elektro I had saw a guy running from zombies, he ran into the supermarket as I lay prone outside thinking "Should I help or kill" as you think everyone will shoot you. I then said, I'll try the friendly approach by saying "Do you need help in there" and he replied "Yes, I need blood and bandaged". I went inside and healed him and bandaged him so he gave me an M1911 with 4 mags as I was needing a weapon. After that we both went our separate ways, if more people were like this it would feel as if you're doing in-game trading which is what sometimes occurs during a zombie apocalypse. I know some of you will be sat there like "Who cares" etc but this is to prove not all members want to shoot first.

My game was running perfectly through SixLauncher but when I tried to use DayZCommander it has somehow ruined my game as I get this same error everytime I try to click OK at the players list. I've un-installed arma 2,Arma OA,DayZ mod, SixLauncher, DayZCommander and re-installed them all. Still doesn't fix the the problem, Is there any solutions? It's good to know there is still some friendly survivors out there, we're that brief few that seem to want to live through the apocalypse without harming fellow humans. I respect everyone who wants to be friendly without wanting to shoot the player in the back.

Nothing at all, As I said, worked fine until I tried using DayZCommander.

That's exactly what I'm like, saw some posts on reddit that it was updated, looks a lot more user friendly, gathers all server pings within 20-30 seconds "The owner claims". Guess I'll give it a try.

You can't "Sneak" on this game, even crouched you're as loud as an elephant.

I've saw so many people claiming to be bandits yet they only kill people that are fresh off the coast. It's getting to that point where newly spawned players can't even go into a city without being shot on sight, it's not as if they can harm you with no weapon.

My reason for wanting a sniper rifle is for killing the bandits on the hills at electro, I hear constant gunfire coming from the hills but I cannot get a clear shot with any other weapon.

I just spawned at Cherno and ran to the tents quickly and picked up an AKS-74 Kobra. This is the only item I have and I still need an axe,hunting knife,compass,map, side arm, morphine,painkillers. Is it worth the risk going to Electro to get those items? Note: I do have a tent that I could place somewhere outside electro to store my gun until I get the necessary items.

Your argument is invalid seeing as they were server hopping and logged in just as I was at the tents. You would have known that if you read the full post.

Is there any point in looking for any military gear seeing as all the hotspots are being watched by people with snipers?

I'd agree with this but there is a slight change I would add. *Once the player dies from a zombie, his character turns into a zombie and starts to free roam, this allowing him to re-spawn as a human again and start playing instead of being trapped as a zombie. That way you're still able to kill the zombiefied player and loot him. Edit: Maybe give the player the option to play as the zombie when he dies so that they can decide.

I've died about 4 times now without AK's,M16's etc and when I die I seem to feel that I cannot be bothered running to a town to look for enfields and stuff to re-gear. Anyone else feel the same way?

I've been camped out at stary sobor picking up the cans and everything and throwing them outside so that loot spawns again. All I seem to get is tin cans,ammo,chemlights and a couple of bandages. Anyone else had any luck with getting weapons?

Just gotten a few Ak's, M1014's, mp5's now. Wanting a sniper badly though.

Once I get a better understanding of the map I will happily help run some medical supplies and stuff.

if you happen to see these items I highly recommend looting them. Watch,Compass,Map,Hunting Knife, Water Bottle, Morphine, Bandages, Maybe a better starter weapon like a winchester or an enfield,
