yeah I agree, that's why i said to PM me the server info so that people wont join just to troll or disturb.

im finding it hard to play this game these days, everything seems to be hacked...UK servers DE servers FR servers all the ones i have been on the last 3 nights have been hacked to the max. ive found ammo box's with every gun in it about 10 times each gun multiple choppers flying about black SUV's. All of that stuff aint too bad but when you have players that wont die, players that will blow up buildings/land all around you to kill you makes the game unplayable. noobies shooting newly spawned players as well is a bitch, i can live with it but not when its a hacked weapon there killing me with and just blowing things up. Its almost like this is "All hacks allowed" week or something. PM me if you have good servers to play in + if you wanna team up with me and the rest of my team. peace all :)

yeah after 3 hours my friend found me and sorted me out...all is good again. I guess if this happens to anyone else you got to just wait it out and die, or get a friend to pick you up. I think this happened because i alt+f4 when i close my game...but i wasn't under fire by another player and hadn't done any pvp for a good 35 minutes, so not sure if a player had spotted me or was in the area and it just counted and punished me because I've read that's what it is that causes it to happen. not sure if this is true but im no longer alt+f4ing to disconnect just to be safe.

im finally dying, i suppose all you can do is wait to die... which will happen faster than the timer (which from ten past 4pm till now which is 6pm has only moved about half a centimeter). at least i know im not the only one this has happened too so its not a problem with my game. just got a new mouse and headset as well all i want to do is play!! argh!

yeah it seems to be the case... and yeah @S3V3N i got a search and rescue team looking for me hahaha :P

I logged out from game to log back in again to find myself on 8010 blood from (around) 10,000 blood. My guys just lay on his back passed out with broken bones an hour glass that NORMALLY goes down but...it stays full for so so long, ive been waiting a good 10 minutes and its only gone down 1 line of pixels...i have no idea whats going on do i have to get someone to kill me? because if i loose connection to a server it automatically starts the timer from the top...i just want to kill my guy so i can just play the game i don't care about loosing my gear because staring at this screen which seems to be going no where isn't fun at all. Cheers for the helps if anyone knows whats going on. :)

oh and just to add, it helps (vista/win7 users) run things as administrator (right click run as admin or a more permanent solution right click icon, go into properties, click the comparability tab and at the bottom click the box run as admin) make sure you do this to Steam also (if used)

only thing i can think of doing apart from whats already been said above is remove all DayZ content from your pc...then re-download and install Six Launcher. or an even more long and full of effort would be to just remove all DayZ content and Arma content. and try fresh from the beginning. this is how i did it and all works now: installed both games (i got the Combined Operations from steam) then i installed the Six Launcher and ran the updater first. (after i did this i tried getting into a game of DayZ and got the loading screen of death. even left it "loading" for 10 minutes and nothing) so then i installed the latest Arma beta patch and did what ive explained already above in a previous post on this thread ran the Six Launcher and all works fine. hope you guys get it working :)

are you using six launcher? and have you ran the updater for the six program?

okay well see that "Launch Arma2 OA Beta Patch" right click that and go properties then in the target line just add "-mod=@dayz" without the " "

just got the game working. give this a try :) i really hope it works for you. if you don't have this already get it!!! latest ArmAII Beta patch: http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php now when you have downloaded and installed it you need to go into your games directory. (none steam): C:\Program Files (x86)\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead (steam): C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead now when you are in this folder (and when you have installed the latest beta patch from the link above) find the file "_runA2CO_beta.cmd" right click it and select "edit" scroll down to where it says ":run" and under that "call "%_ARMA2..." and so on. follow that line of text untill you see ""-mod=%_ARMA2PATH%;EXPANSION;ca" change this part so it reads this: "-mod=%_ARMA2PATH%;EXPANSION;ca;@dayz" (basicly just add @dayz to the end) after that (make sure you save the file you just edited) try joining a DayZ server...fingers crossed everything will work. hope this fixes the problem as it was pissing me off also :P

yeah i just tried leaving it and letting it load...went and got a drive through got back home ten minutes later and still stuck on loading screen. clearly isn't doing anything because the loading bar is full. it loads the first parts its the black screen with just a loading bar and "loading" underneath is where i keep getting stuck.

yeah same problem here...not sure whats going on.
