get the admin script, find all the players who were logged on, pass on to battle eye. .. get them banned.

If battleye cates you breaking the TOS. If you read the battleye main page or read while installing It'll explain there. Pretty much if you are found hacking or running scripts and the what not you'll get hit or something. From my understanding if the log catches you, it's reviewed and if deemed fit your cdkey will become invalid. . . as agreed upon installation. Make no mistake though if battleye catches you and you get a ban you earned it. So if I were to buy a server that was run legit. . . would it be possible to run it locked with requests to join always given, but as soon as someone runs a script they get the boot? Just an idea. . . I'm tired of not being able to play the game legitimately and that's the only way I can think of to keep a legit server at this point. I mean even suggesting playing legitimately on these forms is tackled by trolls and flamers. So I'm looking for a way to have a legitimate server with legitimate streamers. This open server thing is a bit dumb now no?

Bypassing rocket doesn't interest me, but running a server free of script kiddies does, I feel if they can't protect players then admins should be able to is all. Like a new player every 3-4 days watch them on the logs and then bring in the next, as soon as they do something funny they get the boot. I mean it sucks not having a fully open server yet, I'm not playing till this assault ends. It kinda feels like the end of Dayz

Your right with the first quote, but I never asked for it to be duped for me. As for being a role model to be followed, sure ok yes. . I thin this game should be played the way it was designed. Lastly I also agree with your last point. I, too adapt, but I'm not gonna cheat or promote cheating. I also agree with the sad part that most of us cannot play legit and survive longer then a day. . . which is why I will callout any cheater or person who promotes cheating.

I'd love to see that screenshot. . .what my DMR screenshot? really? the one that says got him. . . you can see the other side of that from the stream. I got that from a firefight with sarahpalintenthunter. . . fully legit and epic firefight near the NE airfield. and I've never taken a known hacked item. . . or even used one. I was once spawned in with full gear and got killed right away that counts. . . you can see my game play we always play legit my group. sorry if my playing legit offends you so much. I just find that I get a sense of accomplishment from playing games without cheating. It's not righteousness it's playing a game how it's meant to be played. Like reading a mystery novel from start to finish or playing a hardcore rpg and beating it, once you cheat the game loses all of it's glory. Most of you guys will never know how great this game was for you walk ten feet now and you find a body with full gear, never knowing what it's like to have built from the ground up a fully geared character who gets shot and killed in a blaze of glory in a firefight on the way to a city. I've been playing from the bandit days and you know what most of you guys may never know how great of a game this was, because of all the scripts out there.

it's a glitch sometimes . . if you put a tool item in a backpack and drop it once and a while it'll stay registered but not be in the pack. . it's how you get -1. may not be the case here but not the case for others.

I write that way. But yes your fully right the code is weak but I'm referring to people who are hacking in retaliation to being hacked. Like what this guy is saying. He was thrown into the thunderdome and then hack a script kiddie spawn him in some weapons. As for the reason it has gone full bore I've had friends, in my group who have expressed the same mindset. Running a script to get their items back and we've always sided with the legit way rather then aiding in the breaking of the game. I don't think anyone should promote scripts or hacks and I'll speak out against anyone who runs scripts or promotes them. What we have is a trickle effect the game is becoming more popular, so are the kids wanting to ruin the fun. for every time there is a run script there will be people who stop playing the game; some who will become frustrate but carry on; moreover, as I am referring to here, some players will turn to the "well, fuck it" as is the case here. . . or so it seems as said by the culprit himself: "U as well as some of these other doofuses have NO CONTEXT for what happened here. not to mention he only gave me HALF of the shit I lost to the goddamn thunderdome an hour earlier.". . .

I kinda feel everyone is missing the point. . . ArMA 2 was made a certain way and the scripts, as you guy refer to them as hacks, are making it so these cheats are available. The only way to stop these hacks is to hard code the game so that players cannot modify their characters and that loot spawns are run via the hive. As it stands anyone can download a script kiddie and bring in these scripts. If there were an easy way to encode a way to stop players from running scripts then it would have been done by now. . rocket and battleeye aren't top blame it's the kids with their scripts and the ARMA 2 developers for designing the game the way that they did. . . but the game wasn't intended for this type of game play so it's only the kids and their scripts. It's foolish to think a military simulator, designed to train military personal would be used by kids and cheaters for the program was designed for people who's lives depended on the realism not the ability to alter scenarios with codes. It's frustrating yes, but give it time. . .and a solution will be found. . . until then understanding is all we can do. . . after all these are all first world spoiled brat problems. . . it's not like it's the end of the world here guys. The battleye guys are doing thier best, the dayz team are doing their best and the Arma 2 guys did their jobs. . . it's the script guys who are messing up the game. . for now they are a part of it, like being sniped in cherno. . . Really? I mean he's using a hacker to get hacked items. . .rather a script kiddy. . . and isn't that just the same? I mean using a person who is running scripts is the same as running the scripts without the scripts. . . I think everyone and anyone who promotes hacking should be on the level as hackers.

So my group happened to come across a bus the other day and we fixed it us and then drove it and hid it. We walked around for a bit and found a camp and looted it and then loaded up the bus and logged out. When we went back we found their camp had been reloaded took the stuff and put it in the bus again. Then things went odd. The server kept restarting and the camp kept getting filled with the prior stuff. We said screw the camp, don't want exploited stuff, and went to fix the bus. The server reset again and now we are all locked out of the server. For three days we haven't been able to get on and when ever it is up we cannot finish logging in. We'd love to log in again and get our stuff, we put all of our gear in the bus. I looked on their page and they've changed it so that members can only sign in. they chat about us in their forums. Ghost: we've been getting a LOT of other clans on our server, I think this is no problem at all unless they find our stuff.
