Dark Wolf (DayZ)

I am having issues with trying to launch DayZ via Steam. I am getting this message saying "Unable to locate instance of Steam". At first I thought this issue may have been caused because I installed the game on a separate partition where I normally install my games (G drive) and it had trouble locating Steam files so I uninstalled and re-installed it on C drive where most of the Steam files are located but still no luck. I am using a fresh copy of Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit, Can post system specs if needed. Any ideas? Thanks, Wolf EDIT: Turned out Steam needed an update so I restarted it and it launches fine now, DERP!

Got to try out a developer unit at my university. I got eye strain and felt rather sick within 5 minutes of trying it but it is however a cool concept though.

Don't get me wrong, I do like playing with my friends but prefer to play solo. Whenever I get caught in a firefight I tend to think about my actions when I am playing solo.

AS50 is not as loud compared to M107. Great if you don't want to attract zombies.

4 Meters if you buy it from the local Post Office! :P In all fairness, Just buy it. Not just for DayZ mod but the actual ARMA 2 game is really good fun! The customization that you can do such as creating your own missions is just amazing!

Hi, I am trying to rebind my vehicle controls by disabling mouse for steering car. I seem to cannot find a way to disable this. Can anyone help? Thanks, Alex

Play ARMA 2 Wasteland mod, Armory mod and just watch some PVP videos on Youtube. Once you get the hang of it... The gun play is rather a pretty good system.

Played on a server with the monkey debug monitor, Wasn't aware that it was a hack! Thought it was the servers custom settings!

I only just found a pair of NVG's from a crash site, Most of them time I get them from dead players.

I can confirm this happens at Stray Sober near the mini army camp. Very annoying. Running latest version of the patch and graphic card drivers up to date.

I think it is great now the bandit skin has been removed, It makes players far more vigilant when they make an encounter with each other.

After recently cleaning my CPU fan/heatsync I still get horrible FPS when going around the hospital and apartment buildings in Cherno but when I play on normal ARMA 2 I get no issues with FPS at all. It happens on most servers.

Is it safe to wear them now?

Has patched fixed the Ghillie suit? I have one in my bag but I wouldn't dare putting it on since I got some fairly decent stuff.

I was going to post asking if I dropped all of my stuff and put the suit on would the glitch happen, Guess I don't need to ask now. Thanks for posting the video.

Been playing ARMA 2 for a while, Saw some Youtube videos for DayZ. Checked it out myself and I was quite pleased with my discovery!
