Agreed, this is not some player connecting. This is a exploit, I've killed the same guy 3-4 times and he keeps coming back near the same place he died. Just some sad scripters

Yes this is a exploit. If it says been killed by friendly fire, it's this exploit. Had a massive firefight a while ago with three guys (vs 4 of us) and we lost since they kept respawning with fully equipped gear. edit: removed small indicators on how to do this, sorry.

Windows fully updated? Up-to-date graphic drivers? Other thing you could try is using the verify game integrity function in steam, by right clicking on the ARMA 2 games - then select Properties and go to the tab Local Files, then click on the ' verify game integrity' button. After that, try and run both the games and go online with them. Quit once you've joined a multiplayer server, do this on both of the games. Afterwards you run the six-updater to install and play DayZ Chances are high you have already tried this, but that's all I could come up with right now.

Cheers for this and the coin trick man. I used to carefully use a screwdriver http://i.imgur.com/X7LDc.png it seems like the coin is a bit safer though! I always seem to get lost cause I just pick the direction I want to go to and always end up at the end of the map... and takes me a good hour to get back. Sometimes even ending up where I left off.. edit: my keyboard is a dust magnet, deal with it! :)
