    Out of all the games I've played with snipers arma 2 has some of the most realistic ballistics I've seen in a video game.
  4. I'm no admin but I think one solution is reset the server. After or prior to that you should also find the hackers and ban the fuck out of them.

    Try shooting a real gun, or fuck even an airsoft gun with show you that you aren't going to immediately point dead on and you will take about half a second to steady your aim. REALISM.

    Of fucking course it's harder than CoD. Why the fuck do all these people come to this game expecting to play nazi zombies? Arma 2 is a mil-sim game, so yes it's going to be harder.

  16. To the person playing as a female on us 791 who shot my buddy then alt f4'd. Please go die, you come up and shoot my buddy and as soon as I hit you you alt-f4. You fucking coward. I seriously can't wait until the next patch so we have measures to deal with shit like this. I apologize for my short burst of rage, I just hate people who alt f4 with a passion. If you're gonna play the game play it like it's supposed to be played. General alt-f4 hate thread.

    The premise of this game is consequences for your actions, you go into town and you face the consequences for doing so; be they zombies or players attacking you. He shot my friend exposing himself to me, he should have suffered the consequences for doing so.

    OH! Here's another story for you folks. A couple days ago I was in Zelenogorsk and was heading towards the supermarket and all of a sudden I hear shots, so I run into the store and start dealing with some zombies. A few seconds later some survivor runs right in and goes right past me (I was in the back room with my m9 out). So I run out of the store to try and get a better shot at the guy because I have an m16. He runs out chasing me firing his pea-shooter of a shotgun at me like mad. We run around exchanging a few shots for a while, he gets me once and brings me down to about 7000 blood. Finally I get in a good position and decide to turn and take him out for good but to my surprise..... He alt f4'd. Who the hell alt f4's when on the offensive? That's the greatest form of cowardice you can display in this game.

    There's some flaws in this idea, people could easily break down m1014 shells into 4 2 rnd shells and turn something worth 3 points into something worth 12 points. Same with DMR mags and 5rnd m24's but to a greater extent, turning something worth 7 points into 80. I also don't really like this idea in general not only because trading is damn near impossible in this game but because it would complicate things so much.

  22. So yesterday as I was looking around for some vehicles I noticed my hunger meter was flashing so I went into some trees to chop some wood, to my surprise my hatchet was gone. I don't know how I could've lost it but that's beside the point right now, I'm rather close to a town with a supermarket right now and instead of waiting for my friend to get online I'm thinking of just booking it into town and grabbing a can of food. What I need to know is how long before I start to lose blood? I heard it's 15 mins after the meter starts flashing but I'm not completely sure and this is the life of my most well geared character we're talking about here. All I'd like is some clarification. Thanks!

    Adding Types of Scopes for Snipers?

    I had an idea like this before, like you could find scopes and attach them to any weapon you'd like. For instance you can find an acog scope and add it to your favorite assault rifle. There could be all kinds of scopes too like NV, thermal, red dot, acog, and various types of sniper scopes. It would add a lot of variation in the game. But why stop with scopes? Why not have all kinds of attachments for weapons that you can find? PEQ boxes, grenade launchers, flashlights, silencers etc.

When you really think about it that's how it would probably work in real life, the groups with the most people will control the most important bits of land and smaller groups will be left to make camps out int he wilderness where there aren't as many resources. Of course people controlling areas like cherno, elektro, and stary will make it rather difficult for people to acquire weapons and supplies when they start out so it should be rather difficult for people to control areas such as that. Maybe increase zombie spawns around areas that have been occupied by people to ensure they can't control multiple city blocks without a rather large number of people. On a related note I think this would allow for barbed wire, tank traps, and sandbags to be used for more than just being a total douchebag and allow them to be used for actual defensive purposes
