I tried posting this last night in bug reports but it wasn't posted for some reason, oh well. Anyway as the title states I can't die for some reason. Whenever I get shot by another player I get the status effects of shock and a broken bone(it doesn't affect me though). I don't start to bleed or lose any blood from getting shot though. If I take enough damage to kill me my character will drop dead but I won't get the "you are dead screen". When I log out to try and respawn I simply spawn in where I "died" unconscious and bleeding as well as having a broken leg if I got one(which affects me after I log in). I can still talk over direct chat and loot people's backpacks and my body can still be dragged. I'd like a solution to this as soon as possible before I get accused of being a hacker again. This bug gives me a pretty unfair advantage and ruins the experience of dayz for me and everyone I encounter.

So I've been playing on nighttime servers with low population for a while in an effort to stay alive and avoid hackers as much as possible. Tonight me and my partner in crime were just fucking around the northeast part of the map. We go to klen mountain to check if the ATV's are there and what do you know, they actually are. So we decide since we have nothing better to do to fix it up. We find 2 wheels and a jerry can and decide to call it a night and that we'll fix the engine and fuel tank up later. We begin driving to our usual camp site, it's out of the way of anything really major and is pretty well hidden. On our way we hear something familiar.... A chopper. A few seconds later we realize the chopper is almost directly above us. We immediately drive into the treeline and "Get the fuck down!!!" as I put it at the time. We remain there after the chopper passes to see if it will come back and what do you know, it does. We are scrambling to find a good hiding spot and meanwhile the chopper turns on it's spotlight with me directly in the middle of it. "Shit!!" I loudly exclaim as I dive into a conifer. The chopper continues to pass over us again and again with it's light on somehow finding us with it every time. I decide enough is enough and pull my As50 (complete with NATO rounds) out of my backpack. I wait for the perfect shot, and I get it. The chopper begins to approach slowly from the south and I scope in, I see the lights on it and place one round around the cockpit. Atleast I think I hit it because the chopper got out of there pretty quickly afterwards. We assume we scared him off and all is well and decide to get to our campsite as soon as possible and log out before he decides to come back for more. On our way I decide to check a deerstand to anything of value. On our final stretch to the camp, we're less than 300m away now, all of a sudden I hear as50 shots that sound point blank. I get shock, I fall over, I die. My friend tries to abort but he says he got hit too so it looks like we're starting over from scratch now. I have no doubt in my mind that it was a hacker that killed us. There were only 4 people on the server at that time, 2 of which were us. We were also in the middle of pretty much nowhere when it happened so It's either hacks or a very extreme coincidence that we encounter both of the other players on the server that happened to have a chopper and also have good enough aim to hit an ATV going about 30kmph. I hope you enjoyed my little story, feel free to share your own. I'm going to go rage.

I actually do play on a private hive, but my public hive character was waaaay better geared than my private hive character and so was my friends character.

As the title says I want an SVD camo and I have an as50 w/ NATO rounds to trade for it. The as50 has 4 mags of NATO and I'd like the SVD camo to have atleast 4 as well. PM me if interested.

Awesome! I've been wanting to play on a server with custom loot tables for a while now, good to see I don't have to find another server and start over.

What weapons specifically have you added to helo wrecks? I don't need to know all of them just a few examples would be appreciated.

Seems a bit unrealistic in my opinion. I think dayz should just be given a character customization mechanic asap so we don't have to wait for the standalone to recognize our friends at a glance. I think it's entirely possible with the arma 2 engine.

Did anyone else also notice this was posted in new player discussion?

It's a hacked weapon, the only way you're going to find grenades for it is from another hacker.

OR overgrown helicopter crash sites.
