The thread is comparing two snipers, the DMR and one of the 50 cal rifles. SORRY for bringing the other very alike 50 cal rifle into the mix, and for comparing and discussing their audible range. The fact that two community sites provide different answers is valid to point out, and then eventually conclude an actual and true answer, something you dont seem very interested in, so once again I urge you to just move along.

The word is that SD mags fired from a non SD weapon M9 / Mp5 / M4 are audible to players but not zombies. Whether this is correct or not I am not sure of, but nevertheless SD rounds suck in a non SD weapon.

^^ My incident was also just after having suffered a minor crash involving a tree.

I can confirm having had this and it resulted in the vehicle to vanish. I even tracked back all save spots including the spawn spot where I had found it the same morning. Anticipating the answer :D

Do you even know what we are discussing? We're discussing the actual audible range on the AS50 versus the DMR. An audible range on a weapon in videogame is a static number, and therefor a fact, the matter is that two big community sites provide different answers, I am wanting to find out which of the two answers is the right one. Unique players count you as 1, not every character you've had playing. So the kms walked covers every single character each of the 947k Unique players have had.

Yea, you're perfectly right, there's both ghillies and a camo clothing that sorta looks alike the regular suit just covered with some nice green and brown. (All clothing is currently not spawning tho, however a fix should be pending in the next patch) What caught my eyes was mostly the helmets. But very nice work, and i'll definitely be following your progress. +beans.

It's smoking. Beautifully executed, but in my honest opinion you should have went with accurate clothing for your survivors. Remember people in dayz are survivors of any background, not military people out killing zombies.

Having another vehicle slowly tipping it should do the trick, however that's a risky solution and with too much speed or some dayz luck (usually bad) you'll end up blowing ATV, other vehicle and yourself up in the process.
