All (8) of our vehicles gone. How?

On my server I was referring to multiple groups of people from different clans etc. Not all from the same group. My crew only had 2 vehicles. -

Hackers can see every vehicle and tent location on the map, they're pretty rampant with this latest patch unfortunately. Happened to us too, but not only us, every camp on the server was hit within a 6 hour period, over 50 tents, and 20 vehicles all gone/destroyed. -
I originally posted this on my own forums, but the guys suggested I throw it up here for all to appreciate. The following is my first DayZ experience. I played late last night/early this morning and wrote this up just a few hours ago. I knew about the game already from watching YT videos and reading the wiki, so I felt I'd be fairly pro for a complete noobie walking in. I decided to spawn into a server that was my time as the sun was just rising but it was still a little dark out. I got into the game found a bush nearby and set about getting the controls figured out and good to go. Then I checked both directions to see if I could see anything. I saw a faint outline of some buildings in one direction so I decided to head in that direction and it hit me. In this version of the game I had no weapon, no food, and no water to start the game. =0! All the ones I watched online they started with this stuff, so the necessity to move into that town and find stuff was much more important now. My first Zed encounter was fairly epic. I was moving along the coast hiding between rocks and bushes as there was some gunfire in the distance near the road. So as I'm moving from bush to bush I stop to catch my breath and I hear a zombie... I'm moving the camera around trying to find where he is and I just can't see anything... keep in mind it is still dark in game...I hear him getting closer and more agitated so I make a slow but sure retreat back. Not but seconds later the zombie emerges walking through the very bush where I was just crouching. "Whew, that was a close call," I found myself audibly saying and then laughing aloud at the gesture. I looped back out around town to the other side of the road to see if I could skirt the forest for another way in. I got a good vantage point and that's when I saw them. Zeds...everywhere. It was a huge herd... zeds on every street, in every yard, hopping, shambling and crawling their way around. I thought to myself, it'd be crazy to go in there, but I heard more gunfire in the distance and realized that it was they who may be more dangerous if I'm unarmed. I meandered and snuck and crawled my way past all those zeds into a courtyard and then into a building. All concept of time was gone now, it was purely about finding what I needed and getting out. Minutes ticked by like seconds as I searched in vain to find nothing but empty soda cans. Taking care to barely make a sound, waiting patiently for zeds to pass by so I could get out to search more. I found myself back out on the street, zeds everywhere, it must have taken me 30 minutes to sneak back out to the coast. And then it happened, I found myself in a small clearing on the edge of town...zed following me slowly behind, two hoppers closing in from both directions and 2 more walkers approaching me from the front, this was the moment, it was now or never, I had to run. I stood up took one last look behind me and bolted, in a millisecond they were right on me, the commotion had alerted the zeds on the street I could hear them joining the pursuit. Their moans and whales and cackles got closer and closer, and raised in volume as more joined their numbers. I felt my heart pumping and my hands starting to shake as I ran this character for all he was worth along the shore, but still they persisted. I had to think fast, clearly I couldn't break line of sight here, there were no buildings or obstacles to slow them down with so I took to the hills, slowly but surely I dwindled their numbers on the incline as I ran and ran and ran. It must have taken me 10 minutes of running for my life to lose them all, but I still ran farther into the woods to be sure. I let out an audible uneasy laugh and turned to look back at the town, I'd come away empty handed, but at least I still had my life, I looked down over the vista and I could see some of the zeds shambling back toward the town which was still completely overrun. Perhaps it was unwise to go in to such a heavily infested place with no weapon and little plan of escape. I'd be smarter next time. Then I'd remembered on the wiki it said Deer stands make a good first place to loot so I found a road that led inland and began following it. I was hiding along the sides of the road when I saw headlights in the distance. I quickly dropped to the ground and rolled into some bushes. The sun was just coming up so I was worried they might spot me. I had little to offer them but I wouldn't have put it past them to drop me anyway to find out for themselves. Luckily they whizzed on by without spotting me. On the road behind them were zeds in full pursuit, I decided that following the power-lines across the nearby field might make for a safer journey for the time being so I began to follow them. I ran for what must have been at least 15-20 minutes without seeing much, the sun was getting higher in the sky and I was growing more tired in real life. I thought maybe I'll just logout here, pick this up later and out of the corner of my eye I saw a Deer Stand... only two or three zeds patting around it. I had to get in there. It was a fairly simple operation. I'd made it atop the stand without incident and found some food, a shotgun, and a smoke grenade. As I was pretty much ready to pass out now I figured I'd let off a few rounds, maybe drop a couple zeds and call it a night. It took a few shots to get used to the control scheme but I managed to down the three zeds in my vicinity. Now I had a gun though, I couldn't just end the fun there, could I? I spotted a town in the distance from the stand with a church. I figured, "Hey, maybe I'll just head into there and check it out, shouldn't be too bad." That was where I figured wrong. As I was sneaking through this town I didn't see the zed that was hiding behind that shed, I turned the corner and sure as anything he was right in my face. Bang! Headshot. Sweet. But it was not sweet, for that shot rang out like a dinner bell and before I knew it I was quickly surrounded by at least 20 zeds. I rang out shot after shot, but I couldn't fell them all. I ran for the church hoping I could get inside slam the doors and figure out a plan, but unfortunately this church didn't open. I ran and ran but I couldn't lose the herd. I was out of ammo, and out of time. I was bleeding out and there was nothing I could do. I ran for as long as I could till I passed out from the blood loss and they set upon me. It was hopeless. This time, I was zed food. So there it is, hope you guys appreciate this. Comments welcomed :)
