DayZ crash to desktop "Arma 2 OA has stopped working"

I've tried that multiple times but for some reason it actually worked today. Thanks for the help.

High End Computer And < 30 Fps

I have almost the same computer as you (i5 OC to 4.2Ghz) and I usually average at around 50-60 fps. Occasionally it will dip to about 35-40 depending on lag. Video card is also factory overclocked, but a reference card shouldn't perform as bad as your describing. You can try my video settings if you'd like. Texture Detail/Video Memory: Very High Anisotropic filtering: Normal (Isn't a big factor) Antialiasing: Normal (disable for larger fps gain) Every detail: High HDR: High Postprocess effects: Disabled (your preference) Vsync: Disabled My interface resolution and 3d resolution are both 1920x1080

DayZ crash to desktop "Arma 2 OA has stopped working"

The thing is, I can actually play for a few minutes but then it just crashes. No "fix" appears to be working so I guess I'll just have to wait it out until the next patch.

Appears to have fixed the problem for me, thanks for the suggestion! [Edit] nvm, game still crashes
  6. My problem is after a few minutes into the game, the game just freezes, crashes to the desktop, and windows is trying to resolve an error with the game. I've already performed the standard troubleshooting procedures like "checking integrity of game cache" or "keeping dayz files up-to-date." These don't seem to be working and I would love some help on this issue. I have a very capable computer so it is not hardware related.
