Could be nice, at least they would be useful to people playing solo. I mean right now they're no use to me as I try my best to stay away from other players.

Happened to me a few days ago, make sure you don't have anything stopping the update (like Peerblock). Waiting a few seconds as you join a server, when you're on a the player list, may also help.

Well I'm quite sure some people here will be happy to see you like to Alt+F4 when you're in danger. Seriously, don't do that. Just be a man and fire back, hide somewhere or pretend to surrender. It's funnier that way.

1 or 2 in every major city would be nice. I'm sure most of you have at least one bike at home. But on the other hand, if every player can have a bike quite easily it would be complete chaos on the roads I think. By the way, I found one Ural and an ATV yesterday in less than 20 minutes (no fuel though) but I've never seen a bike.

Though I'm kinda used to start with nothing at all. Like I said, I liked the idea of a Makarov even with one clip. If you don't see a zombie until he's very close and running towards you, or if a sniper is camping and killing new players, it could be nice to be able to retaliate and not just run away like a coward. During the last week I've been playing only on low population servers and haven't met any hackers. I don't like pvp very much anyway, I prefer surviving. I'm currently well geared (M4A3 CCO, DMR and a bunch of tools) so I may switch back to a high population server from time to time.

Yesterday I found a dead guy standing near Skalka. He had a Coyote backpack, a M4A3 CCO with 6 mags, a Colt 1911 with 3 clips, binoculars and a lot of tools (compass, map, watch, hunting knife and matches, military flashlight, entrenching tool, etc). Probably my best loot on a dead body since I started DayZ.

What do you mean extreme precautions ? Yesterday at 4 AM I was crouch running in Vybor and Lopatino and everything went juste fine. I was on one side of the road and the zombies on the other, so they were like 2 meters away from me. Even if you knew they could not see you, would you take the risk to run in front of them ? I don't think so. Just stay crouched or prone if you really need to get close to a zombie : that's what I do and I wasn't bitten in a week.

The other day on a european server I found a tent and a body with a rifle next to it. It was near Vysota I think. I used my binoculars to search for a sniper in the forest. I didn't see anyone so I went closer to the tent, took the AK and some food on the body. At that time I had been in the open for like 20 seconds. Then I heard a shot and saw a bullet hit the ground like 5 meters from me. I ran back to the trees and waited to see if the player was moving. Nothing happened for a few minutes, so I went back slowly to the tent, crawling. That time I was able to have a look inside the tent (which was empty of course) so I think the sniper had disconnected. Maybe he thought I was coming after him from behind. Anyway, that's definitely something I will try outside Cherno when I find a decent sniper rifle. :P

Hi, just press F to switch from semi to full. You can also access to grenades and other things to throw with F.

Just dont forget to leave enough space for your ammo, sometimes it seems to follow the weapon and disappear if you don't have enough space for it (and sometimes it will stay in your inventory).
