Six Launcher Update Issue Fix [Beta 95099]
Jean Jacques Serrault replied to LivingError's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
Some people got error from the BEClient.dll located at C:\Users\%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\ArmA 2 OA\BattlEye. It seems like the .dll in that folder doesn't update when the new patch applied. I also experienced so many errors since patch 94444 and I need to search the entire forum to find the fix until I can play again. -

I've updated the step 6. Some people from http://dayzmod.com/f...fix-beta-95099/ confirmed it works. Thanks to LivingError. -
Updating Beta Patch Fix
Jean Jacques Serrault replied to Jean Jacques Serrault's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
Sorry to hear that. perhaps you can try to delete the beta folder and re-install the 95099 again. Also, are you using steam or not? The solution could be a little different. -
Six Launcher - Easy Install/Update, Find/Join DayZ servers, worldwide network
Jean Jacques Serrault replied to sickboy's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
Great tools! There's only 1 thing that need fixing, the Ping number list. The list shows 9999 ping for all servers and won't update. Hope to have the fix soon. :) -

Updating Beta Patch Fix
Jean Jacques Serrault replied to Jean Jacques Serrault's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
Really? I've downloaded many beta patches and never need any username and password to download the files. Search function is your friend. FYI, me and many others did the guide and solved any errors we've encountered. Tried any possible solution you can find in the forum? I dunno if this can help but try to delete the @DayZ folder and re-install it using SIX Launcher. And also, try to re-install the beta patch again. I'll try to do the 95099 patch soon. Will let people know if it works. -
Arma 2 oa has stopped working - crash to desktop: FIXED!!

Have you done what the Devs have posted to make the beta patch and Steam syncing? -
IF this was an actual game...

I agree. -
I'm afraid I've had to advise friends/family against this fine mod (why?)
Jean Jacques Serrault replied to Mr Muggles's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I somehow agree with your statement in that link's post. Current zombies are fast as hell but in small number. I'd prefer having slow to medium-speed zombies with double or triple current volume of zeds. -
So, do people play this game or are there only NPC's?
Jean Jacques Serrault replied to Sakeoe (DayZ)'s topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Go to Cherno, Elektro, NW airfield, and other big lootable areas. I'm sure you'll find some "possible friendly" people there. :) -
IF this was an actual game...
Jean Jacques Serrault replied to rocket's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Game purchase only with character model skins to buy ( low prices ), no imbalance items selling ( all start and play with the same weapons and stats ) or join as any awesome FPS game's DLC (awesome features, graphics, gameplay, community, etc). I prefer a dedicated standalone sandbox zombie survival game. If you want to go monthly fee, keep it in low price like $3 - $5 per month ( You have more than half a million people already wanting to play your full standalone game so, low monthly fee will increase the "interested people" chart. ) and do daily maintenance just like EVE Online ( it is a space sandbox game but it's still the same sandbox-type game as Day Z where people can be whatever they want to be as long as it's still in the game concept and rules ). Studio developed with some community involvement ( feedbacks and suggestions ). Both community and studio servers. ( Community servers preventing heavy lagging for people who lives at the opposite side of the globe of the studio servers' location a.k.a far far away land ) If you can provide a single gigantic server ( just like EVE Online ) for people all around the globe and able to maintain it ( so all people can play with very low ping ) without any problem, it will be better. Go for Kickstarter. I also want to see more contents like making a secure village and start farming, etc. Making a life during the apocalypse is also a possible thing in RL. It won't be same as before the outbreak, though. In short, much more interesting contents so it won't be boring after playing for a long time. I'm okay to pay monthly fee as long as the game quality deserves it ( not only PvP and killing zombies, awesome graphic quality with low-spec computer-friendly requirements, and some other awesome features ). Make a huge world with multiple continent and cities in a single gigantic server if possible. -

It's a sandbox zombie survival game. People can be whatever they want in sandbox games. Just a thought. :) -

Updating Beta Patch Fix
Jean Jacques Serrault replied to Jean Jacques Serrault's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
I'll wait. :) Hope you can play without problem. Someone will reply when I'm not around. No need to fresh installing the whole ARMA 2 and ARMA 2 OA. Try to do the guide at the first post. Some people said it works if you do it correctly. I encountered that thing once and I fixed it by doing the guide. If you keep getting the problem, can you please post what you've done until you got that error? -
Updating Beta Patch Fix
Jean Jacques Serrault replied to Jean Jacques Serrault's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
Try to search the previous posts. You'll find the solution for this thing. As for me, once I got that problem, I just re-do step 4, re-installing the beta patch step and it worked for me. If that doesn't work, PimpinSmurf confirmed that by deleting the entire @DayZ folder and then re-install it via SIX Launcher solved the problem. I'll add the solution to the first post. -

Updating Beta Patch Fix
Jean Jacques Serrault replied to Jean Jacques Serrault's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
Show all hidden folders and files and you'll find it. Try to change your windows settings and it will appear. Have you tried everything? Have you replaced both of your Client.dll and Server.dll and do exactly as the guide says? Just want to clarify. :) The "Waiting on Host" black screen appeared because of today's SIX Launcher's update. I also experienced this just now and I've fixed it just by re-installing the latest beta patch. Now I can get in-game without any problem. And also, if you can't get this fixed, PimpinSmurf has posted another way by deleting the entire @DayZ folder and re-installing it via SIX Launcher. -
Increase pvp difficulty so its actually takes skill.
Jean Jacques Serrault replied to jupsto's topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
1. Proper recoil yes, less accurate no. 2. Not 1 shoot in the body and die is a good idea. 3. There's already an option to enable or disable the 3rd person view. Join the server with this thing turned off if ya wanna go real PvP. 4. Agree with the 3D sound. It would make better tactical decision and fun. -
There's already silenced weapon in Day Z. M1911A1 is a very good CQC overwatch weapon. Silent and deadly if hit the head.

I've never got any Wrong CD Key error but this worth noting. Thanks, Gram. -
defibrillator in the game.
Jean Jacques Serrault replied to DinMetal's topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
Let's think like this. If you have your blood volume lower than certain amount, you're dead. First, body dead, and after several minutes, brain dead. To perform the reviving, one must give blood transfusion while defibrillating. Not a bad idea for reviving people who just died under than certain amount of minute. Headshot or some other severe injury is instant death, though. -
Players camping towns for new players
Jean Jacques Serrault replied to John Johnson's topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
Avoid big cities such as Cerno and Elektro if you're alone cause they're more likely to be camped than other places. I've died multiple times doing PvP against bandits and never complaint about my starting gears. A wise advice: act smart and fight brave ( don't alt + F4 during PvP ). Experience is the best teacher. :) -
DayZ should work with Google Maps
Jean Jacques Serrault replied to Tackett's topic in DayZ Mod Suggestions
EDIT: I misinterprated yout post. Sorry 'bout that. And, Day Z has an external database so if you want more town, you should ask the Devs to make it.
