How about reading at least all posts from Rocket, if not the entire thread? He's already adding back the timer (mentioned 5 seconds but it could change) to logout... And the DC problem isn't just avoiding deaths, there is more things like server hopping to search for "easy loot". You must be one patient man Rocket, I don't know if I could manage come to the forums if I was developing a game. Edit: Ops, too late. :P

Arma2 patch build 94997 now running on some servers

Was also watching, I really like how Rocket thinks. This mod/game is in good hands. :)

Don't use the beta 94945, it always get stuck on "waiting for host". Just downgraded to 94878 and it was fine.

Beta patch 94945 is a no go for me. Can't connect to any server, not even the ones with the same version, always stuck on "wait for host". Gonna try the previous version now.

It seems that the latest beta patch (the so called rc1) doesn't work on servers with previous versions or at least I'm not being able to connect to any, always stuck on "Wait for host". Right now I'm trying to connect to a server with that beta version but all full (there are just 4 or 5 with it).

You didn't payed anything for DayZ. You just bought Arma 2 and its expansion. -
It's probably the auto lock thing. It locks the server when there are a couple of persons in the lobby and unlocks it a few minutes after they join the game if I'm not mistaken.
