So I logged into US 126 (At least that's what I think it is, that's what it says when I press "I") and I had an inventory full of shit. Hacker I suppose. Anyways there is no point in playing after I have all this crap so I'm giving it away. I'm just North of the Factory on the coast, North of Solichney or w.e. I'd appreciate keeping my knife, and hatchet. You can have the rest. I have: M4A1 CCO or w/e Silenced M9 Shit ton of rounds. GPS, Rangefinder, Map, Compass...well...all tools I guess. NVG....yep all that crap. I really want to ride in a vehicle...you should take me somewhere I can gear up and drop me off. :D Also hurry...otherwise I'm just gunna drop it or die from a zombie. So I was just running north from Otmel where I spawned. On my way to Solichinehahhsahs (Or something like that) when this voice just comes over my headset: Man: Hey guy Me: Holy shit you scared me to death Man: Sorry...want a gun? Me: Uhhhhh ok? Man: Don't shoot me with it. Me: I won't, I don't kill other players. Man: You're lying (Cheekily). Me: No really, I've only killed on person. He shot me with a makarov. Man: I put it on the ground. At this point I pick it up not even seeing what it is. Press G. M16A4 M203 ACOG1, and 5 stanag mags. Me: Holy shit dude I thought you meant a shitty pistol. (Put crosshairs over him, hear heartbeat...my IRL heartbeat starts racing. This dude must just be fucking with me) Server: Reset bitches. Haven't seen him again :(

Looking to get a blood transfusion north up the coast from Elektro. I have a whole ACU pack full of med supplies I'd be willing to part with. Blood, Morphine and Band-aids. No epi or antibiotics sadly.

In cities that is a problem, but around farms and even the smaller remote towns I don't really worry about snipers. They are more interested in the "Big Haul" so to speak, areas of the map where players naturally coalesce. Like Cherno, Elektro, Airfields, ect. I play a very "Rugged" type character. Most of my time is spent running along tree-lines, I only rarely hit the Zelenogorsk Supermarket, around which I've NEVER seen another player. And it's usually chalk full of supplies, tents, maps, matches, even some nice guns. Like my trusty Winchester and m1911. I rarely encounter players, let alone get sniper or pk'd :P

Dayz is competely free, and to be honest, In it's still infantile ALPHA state it is quite impressive. If you've ever played an alpha of a game, you'd know that typically they are quite broken/unfinished. DayZ however is completely playable, and quite enjoyable. Here are some tips: 1. Prone is your friend. If you don't have the time or patience to prone around Zeds and scout and plan your routes, you're playing the wrong game. Making threads about how hard things are isn't going to win you any friends when you're not even trying. 2. Barns are great places for starter loot. Stay off of main roads and out of Cities/Towns/Villages. Look for remote farms with barns you can enter, easily identified by the huge, usually open, doors. 3. If your attention span is that of a small rodent, and your COD twitch sensibilities absolutely HAVE to be sated, you can try dashing around the large cities looking for more abundant loot. Apartment complexes, Firehouses, and hospitals are all great places. Be warned however that you WILL be hunted, and probably sniped by other players who prowl those streets.

OUstide of zelenogorsk, All I need is one morphine injector. I'll pm you and we can set up a safe location for me to crawl too :P

If anyone is interested I have a few goods I would like to trade for some medical help. All I need is a morphine injector, or two if you're feeling generous. I have an m1911 with a mag or two, A box of matches, and a map. I have a few other things that I'd like to hold on to, but I'm getting pretty desperate hiding in some trees outside of Zelenogorsk with broken legs lol

You shouldn't have holed up on a rooftop, knowing full well that people can hop to another server and get behind you. It's the same argument people use to sue like, "I knew that cigarettes cause cancer, but I never thought it'd happen to me". If you're going to be a player killing butthole, at least do it intelligently.

I have the most updated version via Sixupdater. Is that what you need? I'm not sure how regular patches and hotfixes work in this game tbh.

Is anyone currently providing medical aide? I'm still in dire need of some morphine outside of Zelenogorsk. I can trade a map or a box of matches!

Just a few quick ideas I thought of at work: Food should be much more difficult to find in my opinion. Instead of 3-4 cans if stuff in any given spawn it should be one or none. Food isn't really a problem as the system is now. It's more of a minor nuisance. I propose that like animals require two tools to process the meat, cans should require a can opener or hunting knife to use. Also to take some of the focus off of cities, fishing could be added. Requiring a fishing pole, possibly bait. Would add more rp ability, survival ability without using guns at all. Would still need matches and hatchet for processing. That's all I have thus far, let me know what you think.
