... dont ever talk in direct com. lesson learned... you will learn everyone in this game especially once you get better gear.. the parania goes through the roof.. they will kill you just in fear of loosing there stuff. My advice to you, try and find a buddy or two from the forums here you can chat with a bit on skype/mumble, get to know him/her... if there trust worth hop on a dayz server, now the two of you can watch eachothers back ;) -

this has been happening to alot of ppl as of late.. my only speculation is due to server sync issues... every time it seems to happen theres a plague of red chains.. just start over, 95% of the fun in DayZ is re-aquiring your items... remember the first time you stumbled on a as50... well.... go find another one, feels just as good ;) -

i agree, the hit detection has been wonky since the recent update to 1.7.2.3. Ill easily unload half a dmr mag into someone with my m14 and id be lucky to hit them with 1 shot to take them down... -

30 second disconect timer sounds fair and logical... if your DC'ing in a safe spot to get off for the night.. you have nothing to worry about, but if your DC'ing during combat your SCREWED!!! lol i like this idea. -
the CD key you purchased is locked to your account... any pc you log onto with your account you can DL the game, the CD key stays bound to your account.

from what iv gathered, everyone running 94997 is basically in the "experimental" group... alot of servers are hesitant to update without proper feedback/support on how it performs/runs.. -

go into your volume controls, crank master volume to 100% ie DayZ, and turn skype to 50% so your game volume isn't altered during play. -
