Is there a reason why we can't switch back? Because your character reflects YOU. This isn't fucking WoW This will probably cause problems for the people who dont read patch-notes, but its their own fault. I honestly cant wait for the first person to whine about it on the forum :) The first person to come on the forums to moan that they cant change back to a male character will forever be known as Roxane. You are also openly telling us you are trans-gender curious so we should all respect that.

My current "character" has been alive for over a week. I cant imagine what would happen if I died in-game. You know its got you when you dont want to think about it.

I support cross-server persistence. If this was disabled two weeks ago you wouldnt of got half the people playing it now. I dont want to know the same 50 people. -

Hello, Enjoying this mod greatly. I mostly stick to the woods, head north and just try and survive. Even though I know the woods are 95% safe against zombies, I am still slightly on edge travelling through them. I was thinking that something should be added to make travelling in the woods more scary. Some kind of creature that is rare to come across but you really dont wanna bump into it. You know the woods are safe to travel in, but even the remote chance seeing this creature would put you off. Trying to keep with the zombie theme its hard to think of something without getting to exotic and supernatural or "gamey". The only thing I can think of would be something like Enderman, the witches from L4D or The Regenerator from resident evil 5. At the moment the only element of fear from adding it is maybe not taking yours eyes off it otherwise it charges (I know, but im thinking hard here!) or maybe it moves very fast and tries to get behind you or your flanks (like the bloodsuckers from Stalker). You could have something like The Witch spawn at nighttime, so you would only really hear it and have to be careful not to go near it. I hope people get what I mean about making it a rare encounter. Your guard should be completely dropped and bumping into it should make the blood drain from you. Kai.

Two clans on a server with a remote chance of bumping into eachother is good enough. If people are seriously considering this then maybe its time to lower the chances of food and drink in the game.

Not know who your dealing with is alot of the fun. Having skins to show you the dealings of people would kill alot of the tension. No-one would kill someone in real life and then try and make themselves look like they did through appearance. You are also making the game easier and a bit more dumbed down by taking messing with the element of who to trust and the risk of teaming up with a stranger.

Rocket is testing dogs. Might as well help him by giving thoughts and suggestions rather then trying to tell him why he shouldnt do it.

It sounds like it could be to much micro-management. Assuming it follows you and you use the scroll-wheel to issue commands, I can see tracking being a good idea...kinda like being in a field, issuing tracking and the dog sniffs around and gives an indication that within 20 minutes someone headed in the direction that the dog points in. Finding food and drink...how would it get passed zombies? Would it agro zombies at all when its off finding stuff or when your sneeking through somewhere? Could it give you away by barking? With the few functions the dog might give to a player, finding some kind of gear for the dog for carrying extra items would make it very useful. Maybe the dog could drag you if you pass out or distract zombies from eating you and prehaps dieing in the process. I can see why some people hate the idea, but try thinking how you would want to see it and then give suggestions. I think it could work, but it would require some serious work and time on Rockets part and a fine balance between the reasons why and usefullness. Honsou.

Its strange that the mod drawn in so many new people for what it is but some people still complain about it for what it is. Please Rocket, stick with your vision and carry on regardless. Alot of people might be making stupid arguements but you should never try and cater to us. Take on suggestions and make your mod. Honsou. -
Some hate, mostly by people who think they own the mod. People need to really look at the words "survival zombie game" before they even begin typing. More zombies is amazing and fits to what the mod is. Its a shame that some people dont get this mod at all. You are right though, and thankfully we have a dev who has a vision for the game and he will be sticking to it. It is amazing and very popular as it is.

Zombie dogs are not scary enough :P Herbs sound good though.
