DayZ+ Team Vs Team Private Hive/Passworded Server! So, basically, my friends and I have been getting quite bored of DayZ, and the solution to that (according to me) was to make two bases on the ArmA: II map editor on chernarus. The two bases are at: -Klen (or khelm, I get the town and mountain mixed up all the time!) -Devil's Castle Of course, since it is DayZ+ (the magnificent mod made by Stapo), we can add on to our bases, and make them better. And for those who did not know, there are no helicopters or any vehicles with weapons on them! So even more of a challenge. And I believe NVG's and AS50's are disabled aswell. Post here if you are interested. I will allow the biggest team (person with the most people with them) to join. My team has about 8-15, so I would love for the other team to be close to those numbers, if not more! (We are picking only one team due to there being only one base, and I would like this to continue being a TvT server! Thanks!) tl;dr: I have a dayz server, it's TvT (team vs team), dayz+, and I made 2 custom bases one at Klen (mountain near NEAF) and one at devil's castle you can play if you want we need people (we will pick the person with the most friends to join, since we only need one other team!)

Well, my friends and I have a private servers and we have wars with eachother. On the weekends there are about 10-15 people playing, but soon to be more (someone with a huge 15 person clan is coming on to it). Feel free to PM me about it. We just bought it recently too.

I've had a private server for about 2 weeks now, and all we've found were tons of UAZ's, a lot of buses, a skoda, an offroad truck, and a bicycle. We searched most of the map, and can't seem to find the V3S Civillian, or Ural Civillian. They're not at their main spawns that they spawn at on Chernarus, and we know that they spawned because we put max vehicle spawns on it. Can someone tell me where they spawn? Thanks!

We already did check Quarry, and Factory. It doesn't say that its anywhere else.

My friend and I bought a server (locked and private hive) just now. It just started, and we're making it Chernarus right now. My friends and I bought a server yesterday, and made it private. The map is Chernarus, and the max vehicle spawn is 40 for the server. We are looking for some clan members to have a fun war with. Post here your clan size, your names, and maybe why you want to play. Max people is 40, and so far our clan is about 5-8 people. We do have some smaller clans (our friends) and wish to get some more friendly, talkative players. We aren't saying we want a war, we just want some more player interaction! My friends and I are buying a Vilayer server hosted in Philadelphia. Anyone know how long it takes for them to set the server up? I know it says 1-2 days but maybe it's wrong or just an estimate?

My friends and I have been growing sick of the hackers, and script kiddies in DayZ. Everyone just seems to spawn stuff in on messed up battleye servers, then transfer, and ruin the game. I hate it, aswell as all of my friends. We've decided to buy a private server hoster that has the following: -Private Hive -Server Passworded -Fast and easy to setup/buy (if possible) -Not Vilayer (they don't take credit cards) If anyone has any information on a hoster that would do this, please reply on this thread. My clan and I are looking to buy a server that can be locked with a password, or whitelisted. We hate the hackers, and want to play with our friends, in like a small little war. Maybe add some people that we talk to, etcetera. Can anyone tell me a good host that possibly responds/sets up quickly? Thanks!

We all got sick of hackers and scripters, so awhile ago he made a private server. We all got in fine, but after a little while of playing, the server ping got too high since he had bad internet. So, he got better internet and then when he did it again, it didn't work for me. It worked for other people, but not me. Please help!

They sell private servers too? My friend was going to buy a Philadelphia server, but it kept saying error after he put in his credit card and info. And it has been doing that for a few days. He tried other ones, but that's the one he's closest too, and thats the one that has the fastest setup. :/

Exactly! Same host and same problems! Vehical positions and their items would revert back to where we last saved it on 1.7.2.4. Also, our vehicals sometimes "evolve" into other vehicals. For example: Ural turns into a Bus. Bicycle turns into a Motorcycle. And the rest of the vehicals either return back to their spawnpoint, or stay where they are with none of our new items saved. This is getting annoying, because one day I found a V3S and then went everywhere with it. I managed to find an AS50, M107, 2 M4A1 CCO SD's, a Bizon, an MP5A5 SD, 2 M9 SD's, and much, MUCH more. I'm getting really aggrivated about this, and refuse to play. Right now Host Altitude doesn't have the 1.7.2.4 files, according to my friend who bought the server. Someone just fix the issue, and then we can get on with playing again. Everyone is right, the game is basically unplayable right now since the most reliable storage is your backpack. And backpacks barely hold anything. I have a coyote backpack and can only fix 1 primary, 2 secondaries, and some ammo for all. PLEASE! SOMEONE JUST FIX THIS!

Well, I have a short story. When I was heading to Krasnostav, to rally with my friends, there was a powersurge. So I start my computer back up, and I spawn at Kamenka. I'm thinking: I SPAWNED 13km AWAY!?? But, I thought this can be a good time to loot the airfield, and army base. I come accross the army base with the 4 deerstands, and see a person. I say to him: "I won't shoot if you don't, and we will move on after this." He responded: "Alright." So, after he aggroed a few zombies, and found a Remmington, he started shooting me. He hit me 3 times, but from far away. I got ontop of the diaganal deer stand from him, bandaged myself, and found an AKM with 1 mag. I took it, and killed him. It goes to show, that everyone does basically backfire on you. But the story isn't done. I was at the Balota Airfield, when I came accross a player in a Ghillie Suit, prone on the floor of the ACT. I just went down the stairs, and let him be. The next 15km were a nightmare to get back, but it gave me some experience. I believe that all other players, besides your clan, should be avoided, or shot down. Never, EVER, underestimate another player, always think he has the best gun in the game, until he fires, or shows himself.

This happened to us, but right now the vehicals stay after restarts. The only thing not working, is when you save a tent and restart. I lost a lot of my items when my friend restarted the server when I had all of my stuff basically in a tent.

Okay, I'm having a few problems that disbale me from playing DayZ. I did everything I should do, and much more. When I launch the beta launcher, a warning window appears saying: "Addon 'dayz_anim' requires addon 'CA_Dubbing_Counterattack'" Then, when I click 'OK', I get to the title screen, and I get another one that says something like I'm missing a bin called Cgfvehicals and Citizen1.scope. When I click 'OK' on that, and join a server, I crash the server and it sends me back to the server list. I tried reinstalling both games, and the addons folder, and nothing seemed to work. I restarted my computer, and nothing. I also did get the latest patch, so exclude that for any conclusions you may come to. Thank you for reading this, and I hope to get an answer ASAP! I love playing DayZ, and my friends need me on their server! He just bought it and we're trying to get a heli, and some cars! Please, someone reply ASAP!

This is ridiculous, everything was working yesterday, then everything went to hell. This is all just bullsh*t.

Someone please? I just deleted EVERY FILE CONTAINING DAYZ, ARMA 2, AND ARMA 2 OPERATION ARROWHEAD. You do not know how much I've worked on this, and how much time I wasted. I've done everything I could, and nothing seemed to work. DOES NO ONE HAVE THE SMARTS TO HELP ME? At this point I am raging, and I am pissed as f**k. I want a solution to this, and I want it ASAP.

Same thing happened to me, but I reinstalled, did everything I can do, and 1000% more. Nothing worked, and I'm stuck here with no DayZ, and friends who want me on their brand new server they bought last night.

No, no one was on first of all, and he JUST bought the server. It happened right when we found the vehicals, and no one was on. Exclude the factor of player disruption to the tents and vehicals.

Yes, they did. And my thread about the fixing of my problem went unnoticed for about 12 hours.
