I had just fixed my DayZ and had a fresh spawn in Drakon, I decided to head to the Fire station in Elektro seeming as It was only a 2 minute walk. I got there and barb wire was covering the way to the stiars. I only found an M9 but I was hearing shots. I moved to the roof of an office next to the fire station and the shots got closer. I thought to myself "Ok man, you have killed before, and this guy is not a friendly, do what you gotta' do." I see him in the station. He had just shot a zombie and was crouched at the doors. 15 shots in my M9, My character was shaking and I shot. I was panicking as I missed and was ready to kick myself for it. Then, I remember I have my hatchet! I have never used it for PvP before but this was a good time as any. I climb down the ladders. Run through the open door of the fire station and zigzag! He fires of 2 shots and I hear as the Realoads. NOW, NOW is my time! I charge at him, swinging with the hatchet! He downs. I see in the side chat "Windows 7 has died" My murder count- +1. I am shaking with adrenaline and have no guilt for him. He had an alice pack. I take it, it has plenty of things inside and I see he has a few other gear, Compass, watch some beans water etc. He must have just left the shop when I dealt with him. I never realised what power the Hatchet held. I give him credit for not D/C'ing but he must have crapped it when he saw me running at him like that. This was my first murder In this life. And the only people I am not going to kill, will be those I work with. You can guess the road I'm going down.

When I try to join a server I see in the side chat Battleye initialized 1.164 Required 1.165 Updating When it finishes updating I get to the loading screen but it just gets stuck there for ever! I left it for an hour whilst I ate and it was still there. Anybody got any ways to solve it?

I use XP, but I manage to find my BEclient.dll and named it BEclient.old so will test it out now, get back to you in a sec :SOh yeah, I use six launcher to lanch Dayz, is that cool?

The only wrong banditry Is the hacking sort. Otherwise, if bandits kill you for no reason then they live up to their name and like doing what they do.

Instead of a firearm, maybe a melee weapon to spawn with. Or, if it is a firearm, make it with no ammo so you have the weapin, but must find the needed clips?
