i've got the same spec but an AMD r290x and I have less fps than you when technically my card is higher spec than yours :/

can any1 reccomend me the best settings for my setup, the deafult settings are not running smoothly and I have no idea why, I dont particularily want to play with everything on low with a low res as all my other games run on high settings fine. Desktop computer: CPU: i5 3570k @ 3.4Ghz RAM: 8gb GPU: AMD r290x 4GB Monitor: BenQ XL2411T @ 144Hz using 1080p resolution SSD: yes, but does not have my steam games on it.

ive got an i5 2500k @ 3.5ghz, 8gb ram and a AMD r290x, and im getting strange low fps unless I use low detail. I can play games like bf4 on ultra and have it smooth. any ideas? also using 144hz monitor @ 1080p

I think of myself typically as a "bush sniper" like you described, I make most of my kills on well geared players by waiting for long periods of time over a certain area and not neccessarily one spot but multiple spots on a few grids around the map. It may interest you to know that I have a great love for fishing IRL and it almost feels the same, waiting for a big fish to bite, (in this case a good player to kill) and the satisfaction afterwards is rewarding enough. edit: age 21+ studying Civil Engineering at university
