I've logged more than 250 hours in dayz (250 would be a very conservative estimate), and i've come across about every loot possible. However, some things obviously are extremely rare. I've made back and forth travels from 1 airfield to the other countless times and ive raided them, along with barracks, etc, a few hundred times. I found: - 2 sniper rifles, total. - 1 pair of NVGs - 1 entrenching tool You see the trend, these things are extremely rare to come across. however, it seems EVERYONE HAS THEM. Every youtube video you'll watch, the guys have squads of people equipped with FN FALs, DMRs, everyone has NVGs. Am I doing something wrong? It seems sniper rifles grow on trees, judging by how many there are in cherno/elektro. What's up with everyone getting that shit seemingly instantly?

Title. No more temperature in debug menu. Instead they kept the useless bandits killed counter (bandits dont exist anymore). seems the patches bring the game backwards

With all the beans in Chernarus you'd think from time to time one would need to go number 2 (crap). I won't go into detail on how this could be done, because i don't have a clue, so feel free to suggest

there's a difference in cheating and exploiting. Cheating is not permitted, like hacking. Exploiting is using game mechanics to your advantage. Though frowned upon, it's permitted -

i agree except for alt+f4. It's been around in every game ever. It was complained about in diablo 2, 11 years ago. It's just part of gaming -
There are too many people that "set up camp" (place tents filled with everything you'll ever need). When they die, they're like "well i'll just derp to camp and gear up again". It shouldn't be that way. When you die, you dead. You should start over, with just the band-aid. They should remove tents.

my guy is 17 dayz and 180 zombie kills so... i dont get out of my way to kill them. Also, ZERO murders. It can be done

Everyone knows the zombies in dayz are spastic/super fast. It's also impossible to plain outrun them and lose them in, say, an open field. Here's what I propose: the survivor should be able to outrun the zombie, BUT i don't think the survivor could run that fast for too long. So there could be a stamina gauge. This could function in any number of ways, for example: 1. Make a "sprint" option that is faster than the current running. Sprinting would allow you to lose zombies or run for cover from other survivors. It would drain the stamina gauge, when empty you would be reduced to walking for a given number of seconds. or 2. The default running would be faster than the zombies, so you could lose them. However, you couldn't run forever. This would render impossible the current means of travel used by most people (running nonstop from point A to point B ) and would push people to try to find more convenient means of travel, like a car, tractor, bike or choppah. Does that sound good?

serves you right to try and get privileged information on the interweb. Dayz is meant to be learned from trial and error. Trust only yourself... In fact, dont trust anyone, not even yourself

i dunno, i dont server hop, but everytime i play i join any random server with the lowest ping, so spawning at the coast every time seems like an unnecessary pain

they should keep those weapons, but i agree to make them much more rare. As it stands, i can get an assault rifle within ten minutes of spawn, which is ridiculous.
