The admin ban is a private hive admin that banned you manually because of this error. This is NOT a global ban.

When connecting to a server do you get the messages of battleye that you are a verified client? Maybe you can try updating the battleye dll's manually, go to battleye webpage and get the latest dll's, replace the ones in the arma directory and try again. My idea is that battleye is not updated.

I also would say that the "extra" startup parameter is not needed when starting the game true commander. On the other hand the error message is very clear, you are running a different version than the server is running. Maybe the server you are trying to connect to does have an edited version of the files, maybe you can verify it with the server you are trying to connect to.

20FPS is very good for that computer, Arma is notorious for needing speed and graphics power. When a new version of Arma comes out i always bought a new highend pc for a couple of thousend.

this has to do with wrong file locations. Can you make a screenshot of the directories, all off them, i mean the arma2 and arma2OA directories. your arma2 location should be "normally" D:\bohemia interactive\arma2 your arma2OA should be D:\bohemia interactive\arma2 operation arrowhead your mod folder should be D:\bohemia interactive\arma2 operation arrowhead Normally with the dvd version the games will install in the same directory! Emergency option : Uninstall everything and start over again install arma2 and update it with latest patches, after that just start the game and play 1 game. After arma2 install arma2OA and install it to the same directory as arma2 Update the game with all patches and start it for playing a game. (updates can be done with "play with six" or "dayzcommander") Only then open "play with Six" and install dayz, make sure the locations are all to d:\program files\bohemia interactive\arma2

After changing the locations you have to redownload the files for dayz ! (or move them manually)

Ok mate, your Mod location in "Play With SIx" is not in the correct location. On the right upper corner of your first picture there is a "LOCATIONS" area, change the location for the MOD FOLDER to the same location as one of the locations mentioned obove the mod location. That should fix all for you. Am i correct in saying you have the retail DVD versions ? If so, you should have the 3 locations all the same, for me its some like this : d:\program files\bohemia interactive\arma2 So my Arma2, Arma2OA and the mod folder are all in the same location. DVD version should have installed both games in the same directory : \program files\bohemia interactive\arma2 Hope this helps, good luck

Windows TaskManager, close installation in progress. This must be your computer, if it says this just try closing down the "other" installation in progress(ctrl/alt/del >>> taskmanager)

I think you are not having Arma2 and ArmaOA installed correct or you are not starting the games "combined" Are you using "Play with Six" or "DayZCommander" ? You have to start the "beta" version of the game. So your regular Arma/ArmaOA startup shortcuts will just not do it.

You want the "MultiPlayer Editor" !!!!!! Not the regular editor. Go to the multiplayer screen of your game and find the button "NEW", press it and choose your name and password(as soon as you start this editor you will be online with it, people can see your editor game and without password they can just connect while you are in the editor) After you named your server you can pick the Map you want to edit on, pick chernarus, then the TOP option is called something like "new editor" Ffff, i dont know exact from my head, just go multiplayer and find the NEW button, from there you can figure it out. NOTE: if you place locked objects on the map your editor will not start to preview.

If you have Both DVD versions(arma2 and Arma OA) its easy. Install Arma2 from DVD, after install, just play ONE game with it. After playing one game open dayz commander or Play with six, it will say you have to update your Arma2 installation, do it and make sure it is updated with all latest patches. Only then install Arma Operation Arrowhead, same story, play just one game, and start "play with six" or "dayzcommander" Make sure you have the latest patches for this version installed. Only after these staeps install DayZ Play with Six or DayZCommander are very helpfull for this route of installation.

You don't need Notepad++ for that, just default notepad, the scripts are actually plain text files. One solution can be this : DON'T PAY ANYTHING, learn it yourself by trail and error and asking on forums, there is always people who want to help you. Good luck.

Kamenka, Great spawn :) Find the first road north out of Kamenka, then look very carefull on left and right of that road, look for deerstands. Keep following this road until you reach Zelenokorsk, Supermarket there and some other buildings. From Zelenokorsk, keep to the most Left road(seen when comming from Kamenka)Road with gas station, follow till the next town, skip this town keep folow road and go for next town(postuska or some it is called) Another supermarket and other buildings to loot. Now from here you can go everywhere, i mostly go straight for Noth west airfield, but also nice route to stary or othe inland landmarks. I love the kamenka spawn, so many people just respawn, but they don't know how good this route is. From kamenka to elektro is as far as kamenka to NWAF :)

GB 500 or EPM-Gaming, go there, it seems they like backstabbing and trolling to the max, you will be welcome there.

There is the "custom face" option of Arma itself :)

Spawn rates are in the "DayZ_server.pbo", well for zombies i know for sure. So you have to extract and edit, then repack and all is fine, the "DayZ_Server.pbo" is only needed on the server side of it.

oops yea, DayZ has locked quite some default arma stuff. To unlock you have to alter official dayz code !!!! (means all that connect to your server NEEDS to have the same altered files)

Do you have a good connection, do you have a spare machine ? If so, why not just host from home ? If you have the dvd version, both games are already installed in 1 directory, then it is really easy, just download the whole reposetory and put them in the main Arma directory, overwrite all. Edit a couple of config files and off you go.

Ok, just get the application called "CPBO" Bookmark this page : https://community.bi.../wiki/Main_Page Open up your game and go to the multiplayer screen, find the button called "NEW", this will openup the first screen of the "MULTIPLAYER" editor. Place some objects on the map and save the mission, now go to your "mydocuments\ArmaII\Yourname\MPMIssions folder(might be little different path, but you know what i mean) Find your newly created mission there and start looking into these script files inside the mission folder, specially the "mission.sqm" file, just open with notepad. From here you will learn the object class names and object names used ingame, also when for example you want to add more spawnpoints for a vehicles you can get coordinate and other info about particular objects. What i'm trying to say is that if you really want to do all you are asking, you really need to know how the structure of this engine is working. Just adding a new spawnpoint to the database will have nothing to do with anything of arma, you need to know how to manipulate databases, but if you want to change fundamental logic of the DayZ code you will have to extract the original files and edit them as how you like it to be, then you have to repack these files and update your server AND CLIENTS with the new updated files, in this case you really need to know how Arma engine works and what file extensions are used where and when. I always will promote the courage to start figuring out how things work and i will always try to help people trying to edit or create addons for this amazing OFP/ARMA engine. But be prepared to start looking yourself for solutions, BIS will give you all the Tools, but you have to figure out yourself how to use them. The official VBS clients of BIS pay thousands of dollars for there professional Combat simulator tools and applications, they are not able to just give away these tools to the community for free and without hassle. Hi there, The setting for 3rd person e.d. are done in the server.cfg file : Change "regular" to "veteran" or " mercenary" Mercenary will disable 3rd person view. To manipulate the settings with even more detail, you can change the settings in the " cfgdayz.ArmA2OAProfile " file : so "1" is "on" and "0" is "off" Hope this helps
