You can NOT play dayz true the free version, but the free game gives you at least a inside for if it is able to run on your pc. When you want to play Dayz, you have to buy ArmaII + Arma Operation Arrowhead, and download the Free Dayz MOd -

Dropping your shit on the ground should work, just dont leave it to long. I tend to unload before going to somebody, at least when they kill me then they have nothing. So dropping your stuff should work.

Arma freed oes not work for what you want. You need ArmaII and Arma Operation Arrowhead, you have to buy them, then download the Mod and off you go. Use Dayz commander to update the games and Dayz. Or use the SixUpdater. Arma free is not an option !

Patches are installers. I hear alot about DayzCommander, im not using it but it seems to update and such. Try download that and see if you can get it to work.

I have always bought a new very expencive computer just to be able to play the OFP/Arma series. The game needs a very powerfull pc and a very high end video card. The more processor power the better, the more graphicscard power the better. You seem to have a low end graphics card, also your processor is not that heavy, however i'm not really known with AMD chips. Arma2 + Dayz will be at least the same as the free version of arma. You might improve with a new graphics card.

For now, you can just temporary get rid of the artifacts with the "FLUSH" option. When ingame pres "left Shift" and the minus sign "-" on the number pad, this will open an invisible console, now type the word "flush" without quotes. Your screen will turn black for a couple of seconds and when your game screen return the artifacts are gone . There will be a patch soon that will fix this problem. i'm really amazed, nobady knows this, just a couple of people use this while it is the only option to get rid of 99% of the artifatcs. -

We all have to be very carefull who to call a hacker who needs to be banned. You guys were killed with weapons that are in the game, if these particular weapons are hacked i don't know, but i do know that there are likewise guns in the game. My problem with this post, is that you were able to kill the hackers quite easy, they did not disapear before you had a chance to check there gear, there gear is not that strange, what about these guys had found it on a hacker ? What if these guys are just fair players, who just simply found these weapons ? Be carefull calling names without some solid proof.

Actually i think it will simply not work, when you activate other mods then Dayz, you will have problems connecting to a server. -

I'm never a suporter of 3rd party applications that say they increase your performance, i mean, with these extra scripts to run your computer is actually busier doing stuff. The No Grass addon might be interesting but i don't know if this will give you battle eye conflicts. Testing it out is the best option i think, but are you sure you have tryed all posibilities in the video settings of the game itself, try different resolutions and such. -

Item nr. 8, banning This is banning just on your server, this is not a battle eye ban, for that you need to find the cheaters name and ID number, this needs to be submitted somewhere. -

Well theres your problem then. The battle eye website works perfect always, maybe something completely different is up on your end. Just download the 2 dll's and place them in the correct location. The last days i see a lot of messages in game from battle eye, it stated that you have to manually download these files and put them in the correct location. -

Make sure its the latest version again, going back not good idea. I'm not sure if there is also some sort of Battle Eye server update, make sure its running the latest version of it too. Then your own installation, make sure it has the latest patch. Make sure you yourself have the latest battle eye dll's, it seems you have to update battle eye manually. If the #missions does not give you any missions options, then it is done true a mission config file. You have to find that file then and edit it and resave it.

Try the #missions command, but warn your players on the server you are going to restart the server. Then after the #missions command, what options can you find?

I better start reading the forum in the server section and find out how its done. Normaly in Arma you can be an active admin by login in you type then : Well better look at this site, scroll down a little and there is a list of commands to control your server straight out of the game, you beeing an active administrator :) Its just i don't know if the Dayz mod does work this way, but dayz is just a mod for arma and i presume, the server setup is the same as for arma default. heres the list: http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/Multiplayer_Server_Commands
