I just have blood thirst! Yesterday I ran inte to the market in Elektro with no gun. I was inside on the back and used 3rd person to scout the other player inside. I shouted: Don't shoot! No gun, no gun. He answered: yeah yeah no problems. He didn't kill me but all I could think of was to find a gun and kill him. Then yell: Never trust a black guy!!! (I'm a negro in the game btw :))

Hi, i've been playing for a while now and have some tips for all newbies. When I first started I sneaked around Cherno and Elektro, looking for the stuff I needed to survive a trip north. I always ended up dead when I had everything I needed for my trip. Lately I discovered that you only need a weapon, so now I run like crazy mother****** through the town thats closest and loot evry building with no care of others, a couple a dayz ago I ran in through the firestation in cherno and a guy was camping it with an rifle. I said friendly and he answered: then you can leave. Just gonna loot real quick. Ran past him and looted the whole tower and ran out again. Wtf was all I heard. It's when you stay and hide, waiting for the right moments you die. In the tower I found a rifle and now I was ready to head north were the fun is. Now I loot all the deer stands and towns in (almost) peace and quiet. I think the towns and roads in the middle between cherno/elektro and north east airfield is the most fun. You always encounter bandits on their way to the airfield, often there is cars and other vehicles you can ambush ;) So in short to all newbies. Don't sneak around in cherno or elektro til you got everything, you will die every 10 minutes. Run through all buildings and loot til u find a gun, maybe some morphine for those broken bones and then get the hell out. Head north, loot the deer stands until you find some other players. Ambush them and then loot their bodies. They often have everything you need for survival or else they wouldnt be there :) This is the way we play and its been the funniest and easiest way. Yesterday we managed to find 2 cars, one quad, two bikes, a bus and maybe six crash sites :) Good luck For you who never left the coast I have to say

I have to add that we broke a lot of bones during these days. In our channel you could hear phrases like these: -watch out -dont go so fast -dont move the car im refueling -fuck you you hit me with the car, my bones are broken and zombies are eating on me. Hit them with the car. -wtf, you hit me when I was giving him the morphine. -thanks for hitting my bike, -stop the fucking bus -go, go, go ffs. -I fainted and fell out the car, pick me up And a lot of laughs. Best 3 days in Dayz ever :)

Day 1: Found and repaired a bus, found a moto cross, hit the cross with the bus, got killed, they stole the bus. I was so happy cuz I never found a veichle before. Then so sad when we lost it. Day 2: Found the bus again, met two quad drivers on the road. Lost the bus again. Day 3: Found a quad me and a friend, found a bike when we were cruising. Now we are on our way to pick up another friend. Bike tires break. Finds a new bike, my friend hit me with the quad and there was no bike no more. Two bandits kill us and steal or quad. We respawn and find a new car. Cruising around looting deer stands we meet three other players in a car. Kill them, take their car. Crash their car, then crash our old car. Everyone died. I respawn in balota, finds a m4a1 and after 10 minutes im up in the balota airstrip and hear a car. I run back to the road and the car that had passed makes an uturn so I can kill him and steal the car. We cant believe we found so many vehicles in such a short time. This car lasted 20 minutes before we crashed it again... So at the moment we are looking for a dedicated driver and our old bus again :)

When I saw the three taglines for Dayz, loot, kill bandits, survive. I tought the last part was some kind of barrication/fortification part. I love the game as it is now but I think a random zed horde inavsion 1-2 times each 24 hours would add a great deal of extra fun to the game. The scenario: I'm sneaking around in cherno or elektro, looting and minding my bussiness when I hear an airbase alarm, like the one in Silent hill. Now I panic cuz I know the horde is 15 minutes away. I need to leave find a roof with no bandits or leave town and hope that I don't meet the horde. We are talking hundreds of zombies here. I read about some similar ideas like the one with a horde patroling the map but no one like this. I really think this would add a thrilling edge to the game. Maybe with a new gadget like a radio you could recieve messeges like, horde seen at Elektro heading north What do you guys think, anyone else who'd like to see this feature?

I know where I would run after respawn if some bandits killed me ;)

Yes the performance feels like the biggest issue. But usually there is 500 zombies on the server when there is 40-50 players online. I think 100 can be spared for the horde then.

Yes thats great! If there is too much noise (shots and explosions) in one spot will attract the horde :) It would be fun if you could start the siren manually and attract hordes to ;)

Yes there are some perks with the suggestion we need to work on. The server hops feels like a global problem. Maybe the main server could "controll" the horde for all servers? After the last update there was room for 100 players instead of 50 so I think there is room for more performence improvements so the horde could spawn. Maybe 30 zombies is enough even!

Stupid idea, what if someone shoots at you who hasn't killed any1 earlier? You become a bandit when you defend yourself!

I think the best thing would an option to choose west or east. Divide the map in two and if you choose west you will spawn anywhere between Kamenka and Prigorodky, Choose east and spawn anywhere between Elektro and nizhonye. That way you still have to run bit to meet up with your friends again and the randomness is still there.

If u've seen 28 days later, there should be no problems to set up an camp in a fort or compartmentbuilding with your friends. Invite others over the radio to come and trade. When they arrive you kill them and take their stuff =)
