Don't feel cheap, you're not jumping servers at the same location so it's all good. You should see 2 ICONS on the right one for hearing and one for sight, if you're low enough there is a chance they won't see you.

You can run over tents all you like it won't matter, you can't save them while they are flat so when the server restarts they will all be back in place exactly how they were before you got there.

Well, you can't find camo/ghillie in current patch anyway so what does it matter? Personally I would rather have white pants/trousers rather then white sleeves but all my characters have been male.

Change server and move on. BattleEye will catch up eventually and who knows, maybe when DayZ goes standalone in September non of these problems will still exist.
