    Agreed. From a testing point of view it would be better to start clean every time. Changes to the game are made to alter the game experience. But if the game is not cleaned of all the stuff from the previous versions, the consequences of these changes might be quite different or the causes of certain effects might be misinterpreted. Let's assume the loot spawns would be rebalanced and weapon spawns would be reduced. This change would not have the desired effect since there are 100000 hoarders with military grade weapons in their tents/vehicles. It is obvious in this example, but there might be situations where certain newly implemented game mechanics fail due to the burdens from previous versions and the connection is not obvious at all. There are also buggy tents that cannot be used anymore and half-broken vehicles in the outskirts of the map that do not despawn, but are too far away from loot spawns to be repaired and thus do not contribute to the game anymore. So, yes: let's start clean everytime!

    1. + 2.: alright, why not? 3.: overhead display? No. A group of survivors should share this kind of information by communicating with each other. IMO the only way a group feature should alter gameplay is by making the group members distinguishable from other players (by clothing/appearance, not by nameplates or icons). Since ingame every character looks basically the same, this would simulate the process of getting acquainted to other people and recognizing them by their face/clothing. If customizable clothing will be introduced some day, the feature might be dropped.

    BTW there must be something wrong with the spawn mechanics since AS50 ammo does spawn in deer stands and in medium value military spawns and dragunov amo does not. Who would go hunting with a .50 cal anyway?

    I'd appreciate more Dragunov ammo as well. Maybe it should spawn in deer stands with a low probability. I've played about 50-70 hrs by now and did not come across any SVD ammo at all! I've found my first Dragunov yesterday in a tent, but didn't pick it up because there was no ammo for that. Disappointing.

    Maybe the best approach to a revival timer would be to implement a system where the probability of revival decreases by 0,5-1% every second. The starting probability would be 50-60% for a player hit in the torso and 100% for a player hit in the limbs only, thus giving other players a varying window of opportunity to revive the victim.

    Although I like the idea of realism, all of these changes would be simply too much. However, I would like to see a defibrillator as well. Headshots should result in a permanent death, but players killed by shots in the torso should have a certain probability of revival (50-60%? Should reflect the possibility of significant damage to vital organs) when a defi is applied by another player. Players with injuries to the limbs only should always be revivable within a certain time period (does the game engine distinguish between body- and limb shotsanyway?). If we want the game to develop in a more realistic direction, blood bags shold be removed completely and replaced by a direct transfusion from player to player. In reality, blood bags remain fresh ony for a certain period of time and only if they are cooled. However, I'd like the players to become more vulnerabe and thus the game to become more realistic!

    1. What is the average life expectancy of a vehicle (from the time being driven for the first time until it is despawned/destroyed)? 2. What is the share of the vehicle's life where it is actually used (driven)? 3. How long do vehicles remain at their spawning locations? Thanks!

    Doesn't the respawn leave a lootable corpse behind? Or does the hacked gun disappear from your inventory if you respawn?
