Whitelisting is on it´s way, so hang in there. My guess is that people are aware and just trying to fill there last days with as much trolling as they can before their days are over.
But if several people use these hacks, then they will all be banned by battleeye in the end as soon as those hacks are in the BE list. All it takes is for them to either find those private cheats first or for someone to send in a report about them.
Ok i am not entirely up to speed on how advanced it is to host a server that would run DayZ...but would it not be nice to be able to offer another sort of server to the other side of the community? A server with a penalty system / consequence system so every action has more meaning? Hackers and exploiters are being dealt with right? At some point the actions you get banned for was decided to be just that...a bannable offence. Perhaps it´s to early to entirely scratch the possibility that something will be done against the situation with murdering and such. It´s still early and it is in Alpha.
I am new here. I asked a question because i did not know the answer and i am not whining...so i don´t see the need for aggravated yelling in red. Thank you though for the info.
Are there servers where the killing of "fellow" players is more limited then? Perhaps there could be servers where the rules were a bit tweaked and more harsh consequences existed? It seems that there are people wanting to play both sides of this system so it would be nice if you could pick and choose. At least it´s a thought.
So basically...if you place tents in hidden areas and stack them with a basic kit...you can go there with a new character and re-arm, re-stock and have at it again? I dont mind the realism of perma death...but there is always DC or some glitch in the computer...lags etc that can kill you. It´s for those reasons i wonder.
Is there some way at all to hide gear or such that if you die you can re-arm your self and go on again, or is everytime you die a 100% fresh start from scratch?
You see videos with people in night vision gear and lots of impressive weapons. Is the effort to get good gear "easy" enough that the death rate of a player is accepted? I would imagine server-lag or random Dc´s etc kill a few players as well as an ichy triggerfinger? Also..How does a camp work and exactly what does it provide for you benefits wise?
