+1 for this, really enjoying OA at the moment. The only reason I bother with our servers is to ban people. Just the state of DayZ unfortunately.

You make some good points (beans) there is an inherent problem with BE in that it does not support remote repositories. So what you say is essentially true, someone could fake a log entry, post it to the community ban list and get someone banned. This is why it is a long held view of mine, and others, the GUID's (and possibly IP's) should be omitted from discussion when asking about log files and lines from them. Sadly the moderators do not seem to edit them quickly enough. Perhaps they should take a firm stance and start deleting posts with IP & GUID's left in, I think people would then take more time to ensure their post is kosher.

It's taken from the server time, which you can change in your server settings if you have access to them? It sounds like the account you're changing it with either doesn't have enough permissions to change the box time or you have it set to automatically get the time from an internet service.

The way you're banging on about it you make it sound as if their computer IS going to get hacked. Given the majority of people connected to the internet are doing so through a router, I'm sure most of them will sleep fairly well. Why do people keep spouting terms like legal and illegal? This is not a court of law. My personal view is to kick these people and tell them to get rid of the hacked in weapon, especially weapons with TWS scopes which are seriously overpowered, if they refuse then I would ban them.

But without them it's pointless, a Point in case: I saw Tandawan on a server the other night spawning in cars and weapon crates. Did you or didn't you?
