Sometimes they disappear because of a glitch and they could come back when the server restarts or when you log back in, or they may be gone forever due to a bug - such is life in a game still in development. There's also a chance that someone found your vehicles and made off with them.

I suggest an alternative. Take your hatred of the bandits, work your way of the beach as soon as you can. Get a decent weapon. Wreak your vengeance. It is impossible for bandits to cover the entire coast. Move away from the towns and make your way inland as soon as possible.

I find arrows fairly easily, the fact that they take up a slot per arrow is a pain. The crossbow may be silent but it's hideously slow, which can work against you. I'd swap it for a silenced weapon, if you're trying to remain stealthy, as soon as you can.

I agree. The whole video looks dodgy.

If you read and watch the interviews with Rocket, the zombies are actually animals that Rocket bastardized to make work. They are not too fast, you cannot out run them, but you can stay ahead of them. I think the system works pretty well, forcing you to used methods like breaking line of sight, using the hills etc...

There's so many topics for new players to stop them coming here and complaining that the game is too hard, I'm not sure yours will get picked up any more than the others. But have some beans for your efforts.

Road running is the worst. Sometimes it feels like you're aggro-ing zombies from 2 football fields away. I never road run, unless it's to save my life.

It's a tough choice. If you do kill people then group you meet will not know any difference, it's not as if you're making a life choice. You can happily do both if you wish. It's always advisable to be ultra-cautious when meeting others, if not just firing first - there is no honour in this game. Players who are out just to survive are few and far between.

The erratic movement of the zeds is an issue - we already have problems with them glitching through walls, you don't need them dropping through floors/moving through internal walls as well. I've been dropped by one hitting me through a wall, by the time my slow brain cottoned on as to why I was being hit I was almost dead.

I play regular, the game is tough enough as it is.

I believe shock stays the full 5 mins even if you log out, could be wrong - someone will be able to inform you better shortly.

It's a chance, you got unlucky, if you'd have been with someone you may have been OK. Dust yourself off and get back in the game. How the hell did you get hit by a zombie in the first place?

Why don't you source a sniper rifle and take out the bandits camping the towns and cities? You won't find much sympathy here when so many players enjoy playing bandits.

You can't - just join a server and make your way towards each other using land marks.

How did you join? If you used Six Launcher you can alt tab out and it should still be highlighted in the program from when you launched it.

I hope the sniper wasn't the admin...
