hi everybody! im looking for 1-2 mature ppl to run around with this weekend. you should fit my playstyle. low/medium server population. as soon as i land on the coast i run to cherno/elektro. i dont hide or prone, i just keep running most of the time. i usually have some zeds on my ass but lose them easily. i kill lots of zeds in the cities, dont care if more are attracted. i do this because everything else in dayz has become boring. i like to be fast, i dont care if i die, i am geared up with the basic things in like 15 mins after that i kill everything on sight. i never die because of zeds. im from germany. and no, i have never played cod :P

aren't tents placed in trees useless? because you can see them from far away as the foliage (branches and stuff) disappears.. or is that not always the case? i like to place the tricky tents near the coast, sometimes they are so tricky even i cant access them :D but i think tents are overrated because it has become that easy to at least mid-gear up on a low pop server. crouch walking? plz...

smoking + better/steadier aim (sniper or whatever) - addiction if used too often, means worse aim if no smoke available so smoking would be a bandit/sniper thing that would be cool. also the bandits had to go to town once in a while to get some smoke :D make the effect (aim) last only short so snipers can be spotted by the smoke while they prepare for a steady hand

what is tricky tent? well hid or barely accessible or what?

so i play dayz for a few weeks now. at first i was all like 'friendly friendly FRIENDLY!!!! lets team up! you need food? why is there no jumping in this game?' and so on... a few days ago i went to the supermarket in elektro. it always scares me to go to places like that - i just dont like dying. usually if i met someone there i shit my pants, adrenaline full on i yell at my mic 'FRIENDLY' and BAM im dead. this night was different. as i just started looting the place i heard some voices and pointed my gun at the door they were coming from. a guy with a hatchet came in and started looting. he hadnt seen me at this point and i could have easily killed him but im not a 'shoot first, talk later' kinda guy. he was fast and as he finally sees me we exchanged a quick 'friendly' and some things survivors would say - 'you need blood? - no thx, you need anything? - no k thx'. his mate entered the supermarket too and we threesomely looted the place. i found cool stuff (yea i still think of a box of matches as cool stuff, bolts for my crossbow too). my adrenaline was already at a pretty high level but immediately rushed to the max as i overhear the two guys talking (yea rly): '.....inish him. - who? - the guy whith the crossbow.' wtf - oh wait, i have a crossbow! i just managed to grab another tent and panicked out of the supermarket running wildly into the dark. my heart was beating like a jungledrum as the gunfire started. zeds all over the place and some madly shooting guys on my back i stumbled upon another survivor. he was hiding in the bushes and i ran directly towards him. a few seconds after i passed him the gunfire increased dramatically and i thought i was as good as dead. but they must have been shooting each other/zeds and i managed to escape. i died because of broken bones from dropping sideways off some stairs (about 1m height) a few days later. now im camping in the woods with my bicycle, hunting, drinking water, stashing loot... im looking for 1 or 2 semi-friendly players to join me, as i think im about to reach the max fun i can have alone in this game soon. i dont wanna play hardcore serious clan like but some trustworthy backup buddy would be nice. im somewhere early-mid-game i think, found a sniper rifle once, killed 2-3 guys, survived 10 days / 100 zeds. so if anyone thinks he would like to team up with me, be age 20+ no total beginner speak ger/eng from eu (the ping...) i like ts3 but also have skype we can be friendly survivors (camping and hiking and make fire and such), bandits, bicycle ninjas (i like the crossbow) or whatever this game will offer...

well thanks FitzGerald! im still riding my bike, singing... its a mountainbike. a very massive one. it can crush tents full of weapons like nothing.. even my own ones :(
