I've never used anything else but Photoshop for my signatures. When I was still trying to work out what did the job for me, I tried a lot of different signature tutorials on deviantART.com. There's a lot of truly inspiring work there and several well-explained tutorials for various Photoshop tools. Once you've tried them enough times, all the various tools will be things you can apply to any piece of graphic art you might get yourself involved with in the future. I haven't used Photoshop much the past two-three years and I'm extremely rusty but as soon as I open it, all the right things just come flying back to me. (And I wasn't really trying to boast. I just figured it'd be easier to illustrate the difference with actual 'pictures' instead of explaining it by the use of nothing but words.)

In all fairness, I'm not a professional either. I was just trying to be constructive. When I was still a rookie and didn't know much about Photoshop, this is what I was regularly producing: Just like you, I was enjoying bevel and emboss but I received a lot of slack for it. And deservedly so. It just looks awful. My latest works are in a whole different category if you ask me (and I'm still not a professional): Trust me, text means more than you might think.

I'm not trying to be a d*ck but you should honestly spend more time working on text. I know it can be a bitch at times and even more so if the motive is featuring a brand but I see you've simply used blending options/'filters' like bevel and emboss which rarely gets the job done. For the sake of your future wallpapers and any other kind of graphical art, please focus on getting the text right.

I just finished a rather amusing session on this server. Went to google 'DayZ UK231' to see if there was any current threads on cheats being used and here I am. Since nametags aren't enabled, I can't tell you who was cheating. However, I can tell you that several players dressed in camo clothing were running around Cherno, Elektro and even Kamenka equipped with M4A1 Holo SDs (which apparently also fires grenades) and several other silenced weapons. After killing one guy in Kamenka with a hatchet, I made my way from there to Cherno. On the way there, I saw fires all around the warehouse at Komarovo and large pillars of black smoke. When I get near Cherno, more and more explosions occur but I kept approaching for the lulz. Wasn't expecting to survive anyway. Once me and two of my mates reach Cherno, we run in and out of buildings everywhere. Not a single piece of equipment is available to us, except for the occasional crowbar, and there's dead bodies all over. At the hospital, we run into a guy with a silenced weapon at the hospital. The guy asks me to shoot him in the foot - he uses in-game chat and says he wants to test and doesn't want to blow himself up in order to do so - so I shoot him, knowing that refusing to pay attention to him would get me killed. He, with in-game voice chat once again, starts talking and reveals how easily he could kill all 3 of us if he wanted to. We just laugh, knowing there's no chance in hell he'll just let us escape safely. Shortly after that, mister funnyman places a satchel charge inside the hospital and I tell my mates to run away. They do - but the hacker doesn't. He's standing right next to the building and knows he can't die of the explosion. Two seconds later, my friends get blown up at the field hospital and I end up with broken bones. All of this while mister hacker runs around next to the explosions, never losing a single point of blood. Thank you for a wonderful evening, UK231. Edit: Hah, I didn't even notice. The guy I killed at Kamenka (who also had camo clothing and an M4A1 Holo SD) was called [uG]Papanator. Look at name of the thread-starter and apparent admin. And take note of the fact that there was at least another 5 different people with the same tag on the server at the time. ([uG])

Both true and false. Yes, it's caused by the most recent update. It does have something to do with swapping servers though. I've connected and succesfully played on the same server about 10 times during the last 4 days; not even once (except for the first time I connected to it) have I spawned anywhere else but where I last disconnected. Edit: I managed to play on 3 different servers without spawning on the beach upon switching last night. Been told it has something to do with whether or not you impatiently exit the game during the black loading screen when trying to connect to other servers. Sounds plausable.

Right now, this will happen every time you swap servers, no matter the reason. As sad as it sounds, there's nothing you can do about it, except for finding one server and sticking to it.

No. It's all the same. All differences between the levels of difficulty are player-related, ie. no crosshair, no third person, no blue dot survivor icons on the map. Most of these depend on server settings rather than actual difficulty though, mind you. You can come across regular servers with no crosshair and no blue dots.

Yes. However, people claim a reconnect fixes that. Putting it on can/will also replace your bigger backpack with a standard 8-slot coyote if you don't drop it before putting on the ghillie suit. I took the chance once. Not doing that again any time soon.

I love all the stories people come up with in regards to Mountain Dew being better than any other type of drink. I feel sorry for those who actually think it's true though. As of right now, it all has nothing but one simple function: quenching your thirst. There's no difference in effect, regardless of whether it's a Mountain Dew, Coke, Pepsi or just regular water. It all comes down to personal preference, nothing more.

Why people should stop taking themselves so seriously has nothing to do with this being a mod or an alpha. They should move on with their lives and bitch less because it's a game. As much as it might annoy you, you don't get physically hurt in real life if you get shot and killed in Day-Z. Get over it. I've died in every possible way, both naturally (zombies, players) and unnaturally (hackers, bugs) but I'm neither bitching or leaving.

How can you not seperate between the two? There's a clear difference. Hackers either bring in items that are not a part of the official list released by the developers or they use scripts to kill/troll/dominate/whatever entire servers. It has nothing to do with game related bugs. And there's several complete lists of those too.
