    Rules are enforced if people report them. Hosts can't really check each server on their own and keep track if people follow the rules.

    They updated the rules, You are not allowed to kick people instantly upon joining the server. Even in Murica hosts will cut you off from the hive or shutdown your server if you break these rules because they want to keep being able to rent out DayZ servers.

    As long as you did not develop the game you pretty much have no rights till the devs allow you certain rights. And you don't have to rent a server.

    Yea, I knew they would contact devs, because you basicly create a locked server by kicking people 24/7

    When alpha first came out they actually did refer us to the mod rules in regards for the server rules on Alpha. So your not totally wrong.

    Confusing is understandable as the team first pointed towards the "Mod Rules" and now have a 4 rules for "Standalone". And from what I understood reading allot of threads they kept pointing towards mods rules that included unjustified kicks (clearing room for clanmembers/getting killed ect). And I doubt all the sudden only those 4 rules count, Would be nice if they would clear up some off this. So the "older" members got pointed towards the old mod rules in the beginning of Alpha release and the "newer" members only being pointed to the SA rules atm.

    Why did you respond to my message in this thread then? I said it is against the rules. You are the only person that started with the " Kicking is not against the rules" in this thread.

    Then I think we can agree to disagree, I have seen servers going offline were I know for a fact that they got reported for kicking people of their server 24/7 (kicking every single person) and you have your point of view that you are sure hosts don't warn people for this. /edit/ Actually I am not off point perhaps you did not notice because you starting conversations with me in several threads but OP stated that when he killed the admin (serveral times) they kicked them and restarted the server after each time and I did respond to his situation and not a other situation

    No, I don't think that. Because they were labelled as no killing server. ps, If you wanna discuss stuff with me you can also PM me instead of trying having a conversation with me in like +/- 3-4 threads at once.
