I think some hosts are afraid if people their servers get shutdown they just let paypal refund it and they loose money and gave people a free server for a few dayz. But thats just something I think.

Perhaps you should try posting it in the right section, just saying..

You can always try looking the server up on www.dayzserver.com and use the report option on that website.

Like most people said you have donation options to get benefits over other players, if you want to break-even and you are part of a clan or community you can add clan pay option that most hosts have. You can put a module onto your website or pass the link to other people and everyone can see how much there needs to be paid to rent the server for a other month. /edit/ On the first part you actually have to build a community around your server otherwise people just join your server once or twice and move on perfect example for a server with a active community is Ddmankiller his Dream Fall community.

I am selling my female characters body for a can of coke... But I think the items ingame should be the currency, for example you trade a rare gun for a certain amount of ammo for a medium rare gun later ingame. As the game grows bigger they are tuning down spawns and the rare items really become rare.

No, no, no, no. This game is all about your trust in people and if you trust you first thought. Some feature that does this for you just ruins the game imo.

I've seen a post saying you are not even allowed to promote "PvE only servers or No KoS servers", Ill update my post if I find that thread again. But tbf it sucks if you have a server named "KoS" as a guild name or "KoS allowed" ect to get shutdown because you used that word..

Pretty much this, I would see people spamming certain words in global using a exploit/bug as reasons to kick. Its just not in the rules because it should not be in game as a option and there for they dont have a rule for it.

I did not check the locked server situation yet imo, but I know some SA hosts are shutting down locked server or server where the admin keeps kicking people. You still have some hosts that just wanna gather money and ignore the situation/emails. But I could understand them a bit from their perspective, the company still has to make money. Each time they rent a server and shut it down those "kids" just refund their money if they paid with Paypal (what most people do) so they hosted a server for a few days and actually loose money because of this (they basicly gave out a free server for a few days) plus they have to check logs again what exactly happend, and take action again this is also costing manhours. But I think if a host is ignoring these servers then they should be disconnected from the hive and should not be allowed to host servers in the future.

Could It be that it is your server he is reporting, just notice your only post is in this thread and directed to the OP asking him a question without defending the stuff he said in his OP.

Heroes get shot in the face because they are too trustworthy, rather be safe then sorry.

Learn the game by getting shot allot, the only way you learn this game. If you get your gear the easy way now you will get instantly killed by people that know how to play the game in the future.

What I am wondering are most of these guys always signing stuff or paying for stuff without reading the rules coming with it? Because I gladly meet you guys Irl and sell you stuff..

I assume if you are a hosting company you would know deals aren't being made on forums but you would get in contact with someone on the team or get someone to point you to the right person. About your question what would I like in the perfect host - 99% server uptime - no server crashes - being able to get tickets answered in 1 day max - servers should be up and running in a few minutes - decent prices - if there any problems with servers or data centers give us (customers) information about it don't let us in the dark Just some basic stuff

It is not against to rules to advertise your clan from what I know I would not even see a problem promoting your clan/show some info every 30mins.
