Unfortunately this mod attracted a large influx of young players and well.. you can tell a kid to stop being an asshat and do his homework but chances is he's going to do whatever the hell he wants without discipline... fucking human rights bollocks turning everyone into faggots.. Apparently there's a lot of de-sync issues at the moment that I've also witnessed first hand, ie like logging of in starysobor and upon reloging being back on top of green mountain. But we shouldn't discuss green mountain, it's not safe... And I'm afraid I don't know where the log files are kept buddy, if I had to take a stab in the dark, perhaps in your doccuments folder, most saves, logs ect from games end up there in my experience. No, the game is crap. Myself and 500,000 people play it only to laugh at how bad the game is, that's also why youtube is flooded with DayZ videos. If you haven't worked it out, that was sarcasm. Do your own research know what the game is about and find out if you would like it or not. It's really not difficult.

1) It's an alpha mod, expect bugs, learn to love the bugs. 2) If you are lying in the grass and some infected is already alerted to the general direction, then yes I imagine it would make sense they would spot you in their line of sight. 3) Can be anything from admins to ping too high, to anti-cheat playing up or missing files. There might be log files you can check, but I might be wrong.

OP makes a good point.. I still remember that horrible day Rocket came to my house with a gun and forced me to buy ArmAII:CO for DayZ only. No wait... I made a conciousness decision to hand over my cash in order to try out DayZ, a game mod I was more than aware was in Alpha mod and was unlikely would forever remain on the ArmaII engine. Suck it up and stop whining.

Do some research. The information is out there. That's all the advice I'm giving to someone too lazy to get of their own arse and find things out for themselves.

Heh so true. ;) The Dev team are more than aware of this issue and this could be easily fixed however other matters take a higher priority than balancing an alpha mod..
